Drive - means urge or force to do something. Like asking, what drives you ? It's very similar to motivation. Inspiration means getting inspired from someone/something to do something.

According to me drive is within you, its your passion towards something.
Motivation is generally external. You find it either within yourself or from something or someone.
Inspiration is mostly creative. You can be inspired moon and the stars and then paint them.

I don’t know how much time you have left for until the exams but I’d say take a day to reflect and regroup. Look at the overall topics you need to cover then make a study plan for every week until (depending on the topics and their importance) make sure you give yourself sometime to relax as well, then you have something to look forward too without feeling like you’re messing up your schedule! Hopefully this is helpful, I wish all the luck to you

i had a particular internal test in my coaching for which i kept geting bad marks
it happens once every 3 months

this time i hoped to do better and ace the test

i had to cover the syllabus of 5 months in 3

i tried realy hard but got distracted and only studied 1.5 months
out of which i busted my ass of for the last 3 weeks studying day and night

all was going well but in the end i got sic and lost the last 1.5 weeks and lost all momentum
in the end i have covered only 70% of all the sylla well

exam in 3 days i will try hard but i dont think i can revise all of it

what do i do so that i can conventrate next time and not get destracted (which is primarily watching youtube or delving deep into topics that i have already done )

i guess for social media apps you can delete the apps and just use the web version which makes you have to jump through a couple more hoops before you can click on it

also (this is a bit more of a fluffy kinda idea so it might not be as effective but ) thinking of your phone as/turning your phone into a tool for focus rather than a distraction

so instead of thinking "how to eliminate distractions" try "how can I make it the most effective tool possible" but not something you have to depend on.
at the end of the day though if all else fails, just put your phone in another room/turn it off

I just received my take-home exam task this morning for our final essay of the semester ––– for which I have 5 days to finish ––– and, even though it's not particularly difficult, since I feel quite confident in the subject, I've been feeling so drained, exhausted and quite frankly depressed recently.

I've been trying to get in the mindset the whole day, but I feel so depleted of energy and motivation that even eating and getting out of bed were big tasks today. I tried to rest, to take my mind off things for a while, but nothing is helping. I've made a pot of coffee and will drink it in hopes of getting going.

does anyone have any practical tips for getting on with your exam while depressed / burned out?

it’s easier said then done, but one thing that always helps me push through things when you’re really exhausted or just not feeling it (especially when it’s a shorter time period like this) is just reminding myself that i will be thanking myself when it’s over, and that you’re working hard now so that in 5 days you can actually take that rest . more practically speaking, look over the task and spend some time breaking down exactly what you need to do and how long it will probably take - give yourself a starting rest of maybe a day/half a day (not thoughtless rest, but rather very purposeful relaxing time) to “catch your breath”, as it were, then just get your head down and work . also helps I think if you can finish this early - so say, 1 day of rest, 3 days of work, 1 final submission day so that you effectively give yourself a “win” right at the end of it. I tend to think of this kind of work almost as the final sprint of a marathon, like it’s hard and it sucks and you’re already exhausted, but you will come out of it soon

I think that's what a lot of people are here for. I recommend a pyramid type approach:

At the foundation, take care of your health first -- sleep, nutrition, cardio EXERCISE, get screened for ADHD or other issues if severe enough.

Next, take some time to think about your feelings, motivations, etc. What do you want to focus on and why? What is getting you distracted and why? See if any of those answers lead to actionable steps.

Finally, (this is where people try to start first, but it should be done last) try the variety of techniques that people use. Some may work for you, some may not. For example -- breaking tasks up into smaller pieces. Pomodoro. Todo lists. Body doubling/studying with friends. Creating a routine. Reducing attention grabbing screen time. Changing the time of day that you do you work. Change things to make it easier to focus and change things to make it harder to give in to distraction. Etc...there's a ton of techniques, but they should be investigated after you take care of the more foundational elements, IMO.

• give tutoring to younger students (there are many online platforms existing where you can go to the student’s place and it’s safe)
• do seasonal jobs (apples, grape harvest…)

Did you seek help from non gouvernement organisation? They’re not always very known, but in my country here are associations that help students in need (they apply to get financial support depending on their situation).

It may be a too simple advice, but you can also search near your home. My studies this year are quite heavy in terms of work in class and outside of class (lots of research to do on our own) and a classmate who struggles financially asks her local car shop to hire her only on saturday, full day, so that she can earn money while focusing on her studies. During holidays, she works more days, but it’s globally a good way to earn money. You can ask your local shop (like food shop) but also other types of establishments depending on your studies (a book shop, a florist, etc).

Very much agree with this. You can't give more than 100% and expect your body to be completely fine after a while (maybe even short while).

I agree with this. It is a long, gradual progress, to build sustainable endurance. Whether that's physical, emotional, spiritual, or mental. Also, if you are studying or working on things that you are genuinely interested and energized, that's much different from someone studying something they dread that makes them feel like they're banging their head against the wall for hours on end.

I can't give you advice for selecting a major in your location, but in the US school system, they give you a lot of time to take introductory classes of different fields of study. You can do those and find what interests you. Otherwise, there's also a listing of starting salaries for different majors. If pay is important to you, then it would be prudent to pick one of those top ones. Just keep in mind a long term vision -- will you be able to do this field long term and not hate yourself? Will this field get automated through AI? Is this field flexible -- can you transition to a different nearby field easily? Are there jobs in that field near where you want to live? Etc. After that, maybe try to find interviews or people to talk to in the career you're interested in to get a better idea of what it's like. If all else fails, major in something that's very difficult to learn like Physics so that you'll learn how to learn and study. Then, when you finally realize what you want to do, you have to learning skills to tackle it.

I love when the government & several colleges in London & west country of England literally lie to students about the course, and the difficulty.

a 50% pass rate, with a 55% leave rate, and it turns out half of it is business, the other half computing (what we all wanted to do).

just try out all sorts! theres so many different ways of studying, so just try out a few and figure out which works for you - although i would say to try avoid 'passive learning' such as reading/highlighting a textbook. active recall like flashcards or practice questions have been shown to work better. but just try out anything and make sure to utilise any resources you have available and you'll do great. good luck!

1. If you want to write in perfect cursive use 2 finger grip i.e the index finger should be a little ahead of the thumb while you holding the pen.

2. Hold the pen tight but write softly and lightly on the paper

3. Tilt the paper to your left side

4. While holding the pen keep checking your grip so that you get a habit of the same grip which you are using

5. While writing cursive you have to remember that when joining the letters together keep some distance between them.

6. If you want to begin cursive use ink pen no ball pen should be used by beginners it ruins all the lines and beauty and thus makes your handwriting even worse somehow.

7. It is the most important tip its the MINDSET while writing always think that you are a scholar and your handwriting is very beautiful which will trick your minds ego into writing more neaty.

no, it is not a mistake. I worked with machine learning stuff for 3 years as software engineer together with PhD people, it was fun as heck. Just stay away from classic data science stuff, since it is nowadays very easy. Focus on machine learning engineering, specifically in cloud environments.

I don't think so, well it is not easy. Android apps are client development (frontend), and ML is mostly backend and cloud development.
Unless you are in some niche for small ML model development that run on mobile devices, which is very rare in the market, you probably can't combine those as a job. You can do android as a hobby though besides ML backend/cloud stuff as a main job.

I would also suggest to stay away from mobile development as a career, but this is just my opinion/experience (lower pay, too competetive, can become a dead end after several years because it is not easy to switch since you are locked to android stack).

Depends, if it is germany then:

• if you have already any bachelor degree you can study anything in germany in universities which are free by the way. You actually don't even need a degree you only need 2 years of college education (you don't need to finish your degree)

• if you don't have a degree and only high school diploma then you can enroll into 1 year program after which you can get enrolled to university.

no problem. you can check here: https://www.daad.de/en/. I myself emigrated via studies. Among 1st world contries germany probably has the most relaxed and comfortable rules and overall situation for student immigration and then job. The only downside is that if you go for bachelor degree you probably will need to learn german though, which took me like 8 months 1-2h a day, was enough enough to get accepted to university. There are some unis with english only bachelors as well. The upsides are huge though: you dont pay for college even the top ones, there are no entrance exams, you can get very cheap accommodation like student dorm, you can legally work 20h a week when you are a student, and it is very easy to stay in country after graduation and work etc.

A very effective way is to make down notes from Past paper questions itself i.e. instead of making your own notes from lectures just make notes from past paper questions and write down the analysis of the questions in your own understanding and try to keep it short and simple also use colour coding for PYQ's. This way you'll never forget what you are solving and how you got the answer for a certain question

Each topic is more sorted and effective this way you'll not confuse yourself by mixing up all the content. Going one topic at a time will give u a brief idea of what is ahead of you and what is left off.

there is scientific paper that says that our brains work faster sequentially. E.g. you will read column of numbers (top to bottom) faster than if it is split in two columns (left to right to bottom).
So if you have a deadline, it is better to go by each topic.
It will also help because the data will have an order (structured data), so it is easier to remember.
Mixing everything together is good in final stage fot testing your knoweldge i think.
