I would say to just make quality friends, and find things to do that are worthwhile, like clubs. I would try to have a balanced course schedule, and pick up a job-related skill that you like

High school should be a period where you grow. You don't always have to enjoy it, but of course, try to do so to the extent that you can. Finding things to keep you occupied is a good way to do that in my opinion

How do you guys plan for the week? Do you just set goals for each day and hammer away at your to-do list? Or do you block tasks in your calendar?

Feeling a bit overwhelmed trying to plan the week so I need help here

So, usually I just log my tasks in my phone using google tasks (and sync it to my calendar). Then, I usually put down my class schedule in my calendar, and set those class times to repeat at their scheduled dates. On a day to day basis, I usually keep a notepad.txt file on my computer that I keep open and update throughout the day (at least for goals and stuff). As for tasks, I will just check those off using my phone

When it comes to planning for the week, I would just put all of your tasks down in some kind of system, so that you don't have to remember them, and just put down your commitments on your calendar. After that, just go through your days and keep hammering away one at a time

Oh, so I don't use forest, but I think that the deep work mode would be beneficial since you can block out distractions more easily that way. Instead of using forest, I just put my phone in my bag and play music while I work. Usually I'll try to pick a playlist that has the same length as the duration that I'm trying to study
