yeah, sadly its a known problem, there isnt that much you can do other then canceling the battle and try again, but here are some things you can try!

For people who have the DMs problem with battling, here is how to fix it. This may not work for everyone, and it may not be the only way, but I'll show you a way that worked for me and other people.
STEP 1: If the DMs aren't showing in battle your current battle, cancel and restart.
STEP 2: Use the p!battle a command in the DMs with Poketwo. Other text or commands might work, but I use p!battle a. In your DMs it will say 'You aren't in battle!' and that is what is supposed to happen. Then try adding ur pokemon in the channel where you are battling
STEP 3: Your DMs should pop up, and select the emoji for the move you want to do. Only that one move will work, and that is fine. Cancel that battle.
STEP 4: Restart a new battle and it should work normally. If it still doesn't work idk what else is there to do

But the bot will randomly just stop responding/working, and go offline for a while and then come back like nothing happened and continue the incense spawn.

Cant do anything about bot being offline and resuming incense cuz latter is bot's feature so kicking the bot and adding it again resume incense not sure whether it works when bot goes offline but still worth trying.

But when I open the link in discord on mobile, it doesn't open the actual browser. You know the psuedo browser opens that's still technically the discord app, then I try to vote.

It doesn't work so then instead of going to my actual browser by opening the app. I do "open in chrome" from discord.

At that point i let the ad thing play. It still doesn't work,

THEN! I refresh chrome, sign in, and it works

I don't know why failing in that exact order works for me but for rn it does.

I know everyone says just refresh or sign in, but doing those things out of the blue never work for me.

What's a shard?

Shard is something that makes the bot handle command and events easier.

Example

If a bot is in 2k+ servers, discord recommends bots to shard depending on the servers they are in. So if a bot is in 10k servers, they need around 6-13 shards.

Shards Map

Shard 1 handling 1,500 servers,
Shard 2 handling 1,500 servers,
Shard 3 handling 1,500 servers, etc```

So if a shard 3 is down, 1500 servers will see the bot as down but the other shards sees the bot as up

For people who have the DMs problem with battling, here is how to fix it. This may not work for everyone, and it may not be the only way, but I'll show you a way that worked for me and other people.
STEP 1: If the DMs aren't showing in battle your current battle, cancel and restart.
STEP 2: Use the p!battle a command in the DMs with Poketwo. Other text or commands might work, but I use p!battle a. In your DMs it will say 'You aren't in battle!' and that is what is supposed to happen. Then try adding ur pokemon in the channel where you are battling
STEP 3: Your DMs should pop up, and select the emoji for the move you want to do. Only that one move will work, and that is fine. Cancel that battle.
STEP 4: Restart a new battle and it should work normally. If it still doesn't work idk what else is there to do

"Fix this up asap" if you actually pay attention, the dev is on visual studio code for hours straight everytime the bot is down. Just be patient- its really not that hard.

If you find the image does not match pokemon name this is likely due to a lag spike causing an image to spawn while the bot did not receive the pokemon to send. Here are a few things you can do:

1. Make sure you're spelling the name correctly
2. Do p!h and try to figure out the pokemon based on the hint

Chances are you're logged into the wrong account. Check top.gg to make sure you're logged into the right account. It helps a lot to log out of top.gg, and then log back in. Don't have another account? Check anyway. 90% of the people who report this problem and say they don't have another account actually do and just never realized.

Also, top.gg uses a different login session from Discord's. If you change accounts in Discord, you don't necessarily change accounts in top.gg. You have to log out of top.gg, and then log back in to switch accounts.

Lastly, voting is handled on an entirely separate server from the main bot, so you are able to vote and receive rewards even when the bot is down. Do not use the bot being down as an excuse to try to get an extra box.

If you checked all the above but still didn't get rewards, then please let us know and we can check. However, in most cases, it is not the bot's issue. In the unlikely event that top.gg or the bot undergoes issues, it will be announced.
