Hmmm, it's just really odd behavior. The bot just left and rejoined the server of its own accord, then was online didn't respond to commands And went offline again. Very odd. It's been inoperative now for 13 hours. That seems a bit long for a server shard to be down. I'm not expert of course. You got any documentation on this? I know it's prob not a Pokétwo problem just a discord one. Big oof(,bidoof)

coding is a.. very difficult thing to get right. Many thing could be done wrong causing the whole code to just not work. Right now battling really is not the most important thing to work on for the developer. Getting the bot working faster and supporting this many players is much more important than a QoL update to fixing battling. Also, a lot of things in battling change once gen 8 comes to play so really, fixing/coding battling right now wouldn't make much sense. Saying that the bot should be 100% perfect, everything working as it should, for all 1,000,000+ trainers is extremely unrealistic and you should not be putting that much pressure on dev lmfao. All bots have problems, all people make mistakes, saying battling isn't allowed to have problems is just.. rude really. Ignoring the rest of the hard work dev has put into the bot just to say this one aspect should be flawless. If you really want, try coding something like this bot, maybe you'll learn to have some appreciation for all the work dev has already put into the bot and stop nitpicking the pieces he hasn't had time to correct yet :)

In this bot, held items are only used to evolve certain pokemon. There aren't any held items so far that affect the stats of a pokemon like the original games. Check the Dex of the Pokemon to see which items they require to evolve (p!d <name>). And then do p!buy <item name> while having the Pokemon selected.
•If you want to move an item from one Pokemon to another, do p!mvi <from_id> <to_id>.
To see the info of an item, which pokemon need it, etc, do
?tag <item name>

The bot is only sending wild Pokemon and level up messages, it won't respond to any sort of command by users, regardless of permissions. The server I'm in tried kicking and re-adding the bot, which didn't fix anything.
@quartz jacinth seems to have a similar/the same problem.
