According to a Pokétwo dev the instability issues are a server problem, something that only the bot owner takes care of. They're aware of the problem and eventually bot'll return. Remain respectful towards the dev and staff team, remember Poketwo is a passion project and is funded by donations.

Is the female swanna 23689 or 23789? You have 2 numbers in the third screenshot, with one of the commands being aborted (not actually added to daycare).

Can you search your inventory for @honest fiber p —n swanna —gender female —level (whatever level it was)
to check if it’s still there just with a different id (I’ve had the id change for me after hatching eggs, might be a bug for adding to daycare too).
Try @honest fiber reindex , wait for it to be done and then search again.

I’d wait until the bot is stable first before doing reindex.

The bot, at this point, has nearly grinded itself to a halt. It has been like this for at least two to three days straight at this point.
We need Oli to take a look at it.

If you scroll up, you will see the several users, including myself, and our posts with the pictures of the error messages we are receiving when trying to run commands.

You will see the countless people complaining about “bot being down” and the countless people having to ask for refunds.

There are many servers based around running incense that have almost lost all functionality because the bot just can’t be trusted to run efficiently for, honestly, the longest I have seen in the last three days was maybe the bot running for an hour or two without significant lag or slowdown (to the point of, again, grinding itself to a halt)

PokéTwo has created a community with thousands of active users that make friends and find camaraderie in this very scary and hectic world. We are all getting very frustrated snd disheartened at the fact that Oli has seemingly just given up for the last few months.

Please, on behalf of all of P2, have Oli do some much needed maintenance on the bot. Whatever his computer skills require at this point. We know it’s expensive and we know it’s time consuming and we know he’s busy, but… we’ve been waiting months for proper action now, with honestly no real action from Oli, and only sparse updates from you, and now the bot is literally non-functional.

What “fix” are you actually waiting for? You guys need to be more transparent with your users. This isn’t just a free bot to everyone. Some people donate (like you guys ask for) and then nothing changes. Instead, you run away with everyone’s money without a single update and take a “break”. It’s not fair that, that happens of course. But this situation has not been handled correctly. A lot of people are extremely understanding. All it takes is to be given proper updates. Not radio silence or “it’ll be done when there’s time” and still expect donations. What exactly is happening with donations? Are they going to make things better quicker? Are they sat waiting for when the bot is better? These are the issues that need addressing. And until you’re clear and open about what’s going on, people are just going to get angrier. A lot of people feel let down because of the communities and friendships you have made possible by making this bot. Literally just keep people in the loop. I understand that people want communication and proper updates but honestly I can't make any guarantees on any timeframe that the bot is going to get better within - this bot has far outgrown its codebase and the technical decisions that were made when I never expected things to blow up, and I don't know how many more temporary patches we can put on to extend this architecture's shelf life

I ordered some more servers last month to throw at the load but they're backed up so it'll be at least a few weeks before I'll receive them and we can put them into service, besides that I'm going to try to make some time this month to investigate where exactly the bottleneck is - everything is kinda slow and bad but there's probably one part that's especially slow and bad

Regarding donations, I put a pause on the donation site just now

Honestly it's a little sad what people are saying about the donations but I guess I can't complain

In the long term, I'm going to try to revive this rewrite project, a big problem with the last rewrite was that it was really overengineered and so never got finished, so I hope I can actually get somewhere this time

If donations are what’s required, if people are aware of the situation then I’m fairly certain a lot of people would jump at the opportunity to donate, just tell people rather than staying silent. Maybe someone might have ideas, we’re a whole diverse group of individuals.

May I suggest part of the issue comes from the mass data. If you shutdown bot for a couple days

• Clear Inactive accounts (maybe no active over 6months!
• reset market (alot of stuff on there for years)
• adjust market to be timed (ie add to market for 1week)
• reindex the box
  you could probably reduce alot of the workload on the bot and it would stabilize for a while due to less data need to process. A-lot of accounts slow down due to the size of their inventory.

I think this would help clean up alot of extra data thats in the system thats not needed. And give the bit less memory to sift through as it does it computations

It basically says "The database has crashed".
Basically it means there is a network issue between client and mongoDB servers, and is trying to reconnect.

Those extra boxes shouldnt happen and dissapear when u try to open them.
You can still make a ticket in the support server for the 2 boxes you should supose to get, be aware that only the devs can handle that so it can take a while.

cant catch a pokemon that spawned in one of my friend's servers, no poketwo commands were touched that werent catching, hints, seeing pokemon and redirecting spawns to the channel the pokemon spawned in. bounsweet, no other pokemon will spawn and we cant use the hint command nor catch it. poketwo seems to work fine in every other server (despite the level up spam in all of them), and the pokemon you select still level up in that one with the broken bounsweet. ive tried redirecting spawns again, kicking and readding the bot, and testing other commands. ping is just fine. any help? weird bug

I know its an issue for everyone's server but is there any ETA on when the lag bug is going to be fixed if at all I don't want to give up on the app it is a great app its sadly just gotten very unhealthy lately and reading above it seems that the dev has basically moved on from the bot has that changed? Or are we just going to spiral into the death of the bot? I bought a bunch of shards just before the bot started acting up now its hit or miss if I can even buy long incense for my server.

Some people just do "@honest fiber c " on clipboard and then type the name (Which I do and see as fair) but other's just have the command and the name of a pokemon in clipboard on command (which I see as unfair, because then it's not really typing at all at that point).
