You're welcome. The Pokémon bot has an event going on. Well it's like an event anyway. There are pink versions of Pokémon spawning that are called Pinkan Pokémon. You can also catch shadow Pokémon and Crystal Onix and Snowy Snorlax (Snowy Snorlax and Crystal Onix are both permanent event Pokémon that can spawn.) Also the thing about the Pokémon bot is shadow Pokémon and event Pokémon can't be redeemspawned or redeemed.

If you have a problem w the way they manage their bot to the degree of hostility, then leave. Simple as that. Running a bot this large simply can not be free, so of course there are donations and micro transactions. If people are concerned about losing rare pokemon spawns, you can kick the bot after the pokemon spawns and re-add it when it's back to functional. Once bot is re-added, you can catch the pokemon. I did it yesterday with an Espeon in another server because I didn't want it to flee

over the past few days we’ve gotten a lot of reports in this channel about general misuse.

this channel is for submitting bug reports ONLY.

• saying the bot is down in your server is NOT a bug report. Trust me, we know.

-reporting that the bot is operating, but nonfunctional in your server is fine. Even now, the bot may not be down everywhere.

• using this channel to test whether the bot is working is also, unsurprisingly, not a bug report.

• being argumentative with others in the channel who provide you with answers is also- now say it with me- not a bug report.

• it would do us all well to remember that this channel’s purpose is to inform our dev team. That being said, provide more information than “bot dead”, please.

if we continue to get reports over this channel being misused, we will lock it until the bot comes back online. I hope I make myself clear.

for those of you wondering when the bot will be back online, I recommend following #bot-outages , you’ll get the most up to date info there.

I will pin this message. Those of you answering these reports, believe me when I say you are appreciated. Once the bot’s back online, I will remove the pin. If you don’t wish to waste your breath on those who misuse the channel, feel free to tell them to check the pins.
