I’d like to report a bug. I’m not sure if there’s anyone in specific I should ping…

My vote streak has occasionally jumped by rather large quantities, going from 20 to 50 or so a couple of weeks ago and then jumping another 10 or so extra when I was able to view it after an outage. It’s currently at 100, when it should realistically be at more like 60.

I know you all are dealing with a lot of issues with the bot right now and I didn’t want to compound the problem with something that, to me, seems minor.

Edit: I checked back through the log in my server and it does seem like I got between 10 and 30 extra Ultra Boxes that I shouldn’t have had. I’m not sure how to figure out what things on my account should be deleted, but in the interest of fairness, I wanted to share.

If you find the image does not match pokemon name this is likely due to a lag spike causing an image to spawn while the bot did not receive the pokemon to send. Here are a few things you can do:

1. Make sure you're spelling the name correctly
2. Do @Pokétwo#8236 hint and try to figure out the pokemon based on the hint
3. Send the hint to #whos-that-pokémon to see if someone else knows the pokemon
   While these can help you catch the pokemon in the hint you can not catch the pokemon in the image if you notice the hint doesn't match

when an incense is paused in a thread and the thread auto hides itself after inactivity, the @honest fiber incense command doesn´t show the incense anymore.
it is still possible to resume later, and by sending a message in the thread to refresh it it will show up in the list of incenses again

Hmm. What causes that is the code that makes sure deleted channels with incenses don't appear there. It checks if the channel exists. Discord makes locked threads appear like they don't exist, so it hides those. There's probably a workaround though, I'll look into it thanks

If you were to check a Pokémon’s name on the Pokédex and it says “Evolves Somehow” then there’s no current way to evolve that Pokémon. The best thing you can do for now is to wait til they add (If they do) a way to evolve all the Pokémon that say “Evolves Somehow” and if you want to get that Pokémon you’ll just have to catch it or buy from market

If you find the image does not match pokemon name this is likely due to a lag spike causing an image to spawn while the bot did not receive the pokemon to send. Here are a few things you can do:

1. Make sure you're spelling the name correctly
2. Do @Pokétwo#8236 hint and try to figure out the pokemon based on the hint
3. Send the hint to #whos-that-pokémon to see if someone else knows the pokemon
   While these can help you catch the pokemon in the hint you can not catch the pokemon in the image if you notice the hint doesn't match

But gigantamax was only possible to be obtained from 31st May

So that proves that this wasn't gigantamax before

I messed up a bit of code and turned some non-gmax pokemon gmax

One of them happened to be yours

And then I undid that change

And you saw your gigantamax disappear

Does that make sense?

This all happened because I was fixing a bug that prevented low key toxtricity and rapid strike urshifu to be gmax on catch. After fixing the bug I was retroactively applying the chance to all of these species in existence. The mistake I made was not filtering out pokemon from before May 31st. So a lot of pokemon from before that turned GMax, which I promptly undid. But you happened to find it before that
