I use the browser to organise research articles for uni. it would be cool to have tab groupings, for example, you have 10 tabs in a task bar and 3 of them are for one topic, you could create a grouping and add tabs to that grouping. maybe even have it act like it's own space in the tabs bar where you can enter it and any new tabs you create inside that space stay in that space unless taken out. if this is not possible/could take quite a while to do, i would love for you to add tab colours, basically just a visual way to manually group the tabs without all the coding and stuff to actually create groups. I like to use the Video Pop-Out while gaming on the same monitor as I only have one currently -- however when you move your mouse accidently over it, you will not only pause or move the Pop-Out, the game won't register your inputs anymore, which can be very frustrating especially in more hectic gaming moments. Could you add the possibility to open small sized pdf files centered like Edge does? I'd love to see the sidebar get some love. I use it religiously to keep my todo list open or to message. I feel like this is a great feature that should be built upon.

• Fix darkmode:
  When using "force darkmode" function of GX, you get those nasty white flashes when dealing with a responsive side; alternatively or additionally allow darkmode extensions to work properly with the sidebar
• Additional Sidebars:
  Add the option to add additional sidebars to the right hand side or the bottom of Opera. Despite it being a gaming browser I find Opera GX fantastic for multi-tasking when working as well!
• Add a adressbar to the sidebar:
  Allow us to copy and paste any website into the side bar, so that it opens there instead of manually adding it via the settings

For the Android app... Opera GX refuses to download screenshots and footage captures from the Switch using the Send to Smart Device feature, I have my phone (Android 11) connected to the Switch and yet Opera GX does not start downloading, I can use any other browser and it'll download from the Switch, but not Opera GX, it says starting and just stalls there.

Workspaces =/= tab groups, it's incredibly inconveniencing to have to essentially change what window I'm viewing just to enter a different group. Tab groups can be used to compact various tabs that would need to be accessed all at once for a heavy multitasker; the best that workspaces can do compared to that is essentially just make a new environment for you to use. It's a pain in the ass to go between something like Google Sheets and a different workspace such as the values that you'd need to punch in.

Workspaces are an inconveniencing gimmick that only adds bloat to what was meant to be an alternative to streamlining page access.

Yo, just wondering if maybe it's possible to give bookmark folders unique images? Like, the user can upload a 16x16 png or something as opposed to the regular folder logo. Either that or even removing the folder logo entirely - as an option ofc - so that people can instead use emojis in the name to similarly replicate that. I like my desktop very clean and minimalist so having my folders titled is really not my style. If I could simply remove the folder icon or edit it instead, that would be a life saver.

Please, we need more speed dials for different purposes, one speed dial gets cluttered quickly and folders aren't helping. I've seen this feature requested multiple times in different opera forums and places online for the past 3 years, I was certain that it will happen at some point, but still nothing... Just place tabs on top of the speed dial to switch between a few instances of speed dials, even just 2 of them would be already a huge improvement

Many extensions are trying to do a variant of this, but they cannot really affect the Opera's default speed dial behavior, so they require you to press extension buttons to get to their variant of speed dial that usually wants you to also sync bookmarks with cloud and whatnot

Add one-per-session PASSWORD TO ACCESS MESSAGE APPS on the Sidebar. Eg: when you launch OperaGX, telegram,discord,etc are disabled (=no access, no notifications) for any of those selected as private by user, otherwise they behave as normal. To gain access, user must enter a password. Access lasts until given-time or until OperaGX is closed.

SIDEBAR is peak, but it gets really crowded. User must be able to at least REARRANGE ICONS order in configuration, in order to have most used functions on top; other changes that could enhance organization are very welcome too. (examples: contexts grouped in drop-down menu; custom Board length/width; etc..)

Music Player and Flow ICONS are TOO SIMILAR, something has to be changed (hint: the bad one is the music player)

Also, if SIDEBAR could be TOGGLED (Eg. clicking on the upper left Opera logo could toggle it), then youd have a simmetric view of the browser whenever you want (or better, when you dont need Sidebar). Really important when you're a new user coming from Chrome or whatever: your eyes are used to it. Don't make it weird!

Also, Sidebar taking space on the left is very unaestethical and not functional with videos. Just open up any youtube video in cinema mode (which, is supposed to make you focus just on the vid without fullscreening), both on Brave and OperaGX and see the difference for yourself. Not with Toggable Sidebar tho.

Speaking of videos: the option to watch them in pip is really useful, but the PIP BUTTON IS MISPLACED. Really ugly to see it centered and over the video. It should be outside and besides. Also, if I didn't use pip, I'd want to disable it. (these apply to other video buttons such as RGX)

and it supports all chromium and firefox based browsers
