This has to be american folk here, that never seen OM606, M57 or M67 and think diesel is only cummins, slow, slugish and low RPM.
My 500HP turbo diesel, is still 500HP, and is as fast as any other 500HP + it sounds raspy and brutal. And I can still cruise at 200km/h with decent fuel consumption.
