Freeroam you can do whatever tf you want without consequence, in career mode it's kinda like every other games career mode, where if you crash then you gotta pay whatever in-game currency (that you have to work in-game for, like doing cargo or delivering cars) to fix it, and ofc you can buy new cars via the computer or upgrade the one you already have

the vulkan thing is unstable it never works well, you can disable that popup somewhere in steam settings. if your controls dont work then that's a whole separate issue

so it just gets automatically skipped. that works well
