so it's a little unusual because the halfshafts are tied directly to the suspension choice and not the diff, but i suspect it's been done this way due to the drift suspension

the front drift suspension can't be driven, and having the front halfshafts under the transaxle would allow you to equip them with the drift suspension (which obviously wouldn't work)

the rear drift suspension also has its own halfshafts which can't be unequipped for whatever reason

im kinda too lazy to explain how to enable xmp so you should look it up, its pretty simple

what i can tell you is to go into the bios to enable it incase its disabled. on most pc's to get into the bios you spam either f10 f11 f12 or delete key to get in while its starting up

Step 2: Copy its .json and .png and paste it into its freeroam location C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.35\vehicles\CAR_NAME.
Step 3: Change the save format of .png to .jpg and from .json to .pc.
Step 4: Make the career save .pc file begin with [photo] so it replaces whatever is above that.

A couple of times I managed to get into them, but game crashed after playing thr replay for maybe 1 minute or so.

can someone help me understand hand brake drifts? i was watching this old drift video taught by tsuchiya and he said that an ebrake drift goes like this:

• ease into brake at the start of the corner while turning into the center.
• off the gas, hit the ebrake with the clutch.
• wait until the front wheels point at the exit and ease on the gas

is this dumb should i search up another video?

why do we need to use both the clutch and the brake? Also when I do wait for the front to line up I end up bleeding too much velocity and go to a dead stop in the corner. When I add more speed I go sideways but go straight into the guardrail.

not to mention that I also cant really turn while easing on the brake because even if i barely hit the brake, like my ui says that im about 30 on the brake, my front locks up

Pretty much that seems to be the case. I run the Task Manager and I saw while loading the replay how the memory usage was going up until reaching the max. Maybe I can use lower settings and try.

I would like to see some sort of realistic simulation. like compromizing the battery cuts off your car battery if it is severly damaged can catch fire. also having the batteries compromised and then going in water will immediately short circut and catch fire or something like that.

also pushing more current and voltage through the motor. maybe doing that to a stock ev motor makes it smoke out.
