ive never seen someone split their bullets in experience like that
its prob fine though
i mean this is quite good
and thats pretty obvious too from the few interviews + oas youve gotten
i guess if anything you just keep applying and focus on leetcode / behavioral
no it isnt
it probably parses awfully for ats
scrap this entire resume and change it to jakes
🫡
not even change it to jakes it needs to be changed a lot
@pure lantern could you please elaborate a little bit.
I did make a different version of this. (attached)
But for some reason I feel my bullets need more punch
Also to give a little more context.
- I used the original resume without the bullet summarization to get interviews from HeyGen, OKX, Bloomberg, Zon.
- Ghosted after talking to TBC recruiter & startup CTO
- I am an international
way better but format still super werid
like the bullet dot itself is aligned weird...
well what happened to heygen zon bloomberg? i know bloomberg sponsors
youre clearly getting interviews so your resume isnt a problem then, and asking for advice makes no sense
if youre failing interviews no one can help you with that
you just have to practice leetcode and your answers to behavioral questions
looks like something chatgpt would do
Heygen interview didn’t go well.
Not sure abt bloomberg and zon. I thought they went pretty well. Zon I felt the vibe was kinda off with 2 intervewers. But sure there is some room for improvement. So I have been grinding leetcode and practicing behavioural
It wasn’t GPT. I saw a friend splitting their bullets like that. It did work out for him.
i think ur friend was using gpt then
i’ve seen gpt do this exact thing when asked to make a resume lol
zon has the worst interviewers ever to be fair
bloomberg is super rng too
but i don't think your resume is a problem
😂😂i am pretty sure it was intentional and not GPT. According to him recruiters dont read all bullets. So putting the bullet summary helps them scan and read bullets they actually want to.
I was in two minds so I posted here to see what others think
Cool thanks. Would love to know if there is anything I could improve
this is prob the only advice i can give #1353057244543057991 message
move skills down
it should be education then experience
Or some people do experience then education but since its new grad do education then experience
Thanks
