I was contacted towards the end of 2019 by a recruiter about a summer internship at a company. Didn't get an offer and haven't spoken to the recruiter since.

It's been almost 4 years since we last spoke and she likely doesn't even know me anymore; but I've applied for a new grad role at that company and am thinking of emailing her again to reintroduce myself and say how keen I am on pursuing that new grad role (still have her email and she still works as a recruiter at that company).

The idea is to do practice something beforehand and then do something to make yourself feel like you made an improvement. This will make you say "I am glad I addressed this now and didn't do it during an interview". The act of doing this will make you feel more confident. The key to this is the feeling that you made an improvement/the relief that you caught something now and were able to make it better.
