Essentials would be your chat manager so if you would want different colors you would need to make different groups inside of it for example

what do you mean by that?

I'm sure there are, but they wouldn't be great bosses. Spigot is limited in what ways it can interact with the client, so the new boss would be a mishmash of mobs or falling sand blocks if you wanted it to be able to move.

That should already limit a lot of the lag because you'll only have few chunks loaded. If youre still lagging after that, a timings report would help us understand what's contributing to the lag

hi, so when i launch my server it says server is out of date, i have run the build tools bat file and put 1.16.5 as the version. It then created the 1.16.5 .jar file in the buildtools folder. Do i just move the 1.16.5 .jar file and swap it with the 1.16.4 .jar file in the main server folder?

I've got a small question. I'm hosting a MC server on my home network and i notice that everyday my internet connection cuts off multiple times. could this be due to a plugin? Or due to me hosting something on my network? Also the players that play on the servers aren't that much. Around 3-5 players max on at a time.

Hello, I encountered a very serious bug on the server.
I will attach the projection file of the redstone machine (the monster spawning tower) that caused this bug.
The specific reproduction steps are as follows:

Use the projection mod to load and paste the schematic diagram of the above redstone machine to the server;
Turn on the redstone machine.
After turning on the Redstone machine, three bugs will appear:
The hopper timer under the machine will get stuck, making it impossible to activate the circuit behind it;
If the operation of the hopper timer is restored, and the redstone machine is operating normally and spawning monsters, throwing items in the loading area (press Q) may cause the thrown items to be lost, or The operation of destroying the block in the loading area may cause the corresponding block to not fall, that is, the block will disappear directly after being destroyed;
After the hopper timer resumes operation, the water flow in the middle of the redstone machine will be abnormal, that is, the water will penetrate the trap door or not disappear.
We have tested on the original server of Minecraft, Bukkit server, Spigot server, and Paper server. This problem did not occur on the original Minecraft server and Bukkit server, only the Spigot server or the Spigot server This problem occurs in server-side development based on end-to-end.

Hey Hey.. i want to change my current system (Ryzen 3900X) to another cpu because our plans of the minecraft network changed (from a minigame network (25-30 Server) to something less (5-6 Server)).. since those Servers should get higher playercounts its important to have a higher clockspeed instead of massive cores..

Should i get a i9-10900K or a i9-9900k? are the newer cpus (10XXX) better for minecraft or is there no real benefit for the extra $$?

I'm on a linux machine, when I try to launch spigot from a desktop icon it keeps telling me to agree to eula, which i have done. I'm guessing it has something to do with launching the launcher from outside the folder. Anyone have any ideas?

it is in the same directory. If i actually manualy launch the .sh script it works ok, but I wrote a script to launch idle and minecraft along with it and that also works if I use it from the folder. The problem starts when I use the .desktop file that calls the launcher script I'm using.

Curious, does anyone restrict Nether Portal usage in their multiplayer survival server?

I turned off users being allowed to ignite portals as they were starting to crop up when ever they felt it easier to use coordinates to get home after a haul rather than having to get back through their path in the Nether. Is that too restrictive? Or is it fair?

It's really up to you, I would assume that would make people angry as nether portals are a huge travel system
