so its best to buy them separately and then equip them on the RTFKT website. This is an off chain event until further notice so the NFT wont change, will only be reflected on the site. Therefore you wont see any evolved shoes on opensea.

You may have noticed equipped dunks on opensea, back then you could equip vials on chain and would be reflected on the nft, however metadata was slow to update and people were scamming others by unequipping before selling. Therefore it is advisable to not purchase one of those equipped dunks on opensea (which is mentioned in the description)

personallly if you want to stay safe

1. wipe clean your devices you ever used that wallet (phone, pc etc). You don't know the source so device can be infected with malware or something
2. Be aware of any people saying they will help you sort it out, almost everyone will be a scammer trying to take even more from you
3. reset password to main accounts (email, exchanges etc)
4. If you decide to stay in crypto space, read more on how to stay secure and safe and get yourself a hardwallet (ledger, trezor so some other). This won't give you 100% protection but will give you one more layer or protection. A small disclamer: hard wallets do not protect you if you sign approval to some phishing/draining contract

a lot of people were getting misled and scammed via secondary markets because unequipping a skin vial wasnt immediately reflected on chain

which is why we switched to this option at least for the time being

with the off chain solution, the skin vials (including the evolved skin vials) are on chain, but the simple act of equipping and unequipping the dunks is off chain

but equipped dunks can still be viewed on the official rtfkt website inventory

so technically, the skin vial is the most important part that's on chain

It’s only possible during forging events, which is when holders can get the physical counter part. It’s only open during a select time frame as it’s made to order. Once it’s done, then they move onto the next thing so for now no shoes can be forged.

The vial event on Dec 14-18 is for the physical vial to place on the shoe / collectible

The collector edition vial that has a vial case is part of the ledger drop that has been postponed

It seems like the project uses clones as his consumers and not his shareholders, is that kind of business model / ideology about to change? are the team aware and trying to make a change?
For an example airdropping clone holders new airforces for free + clothes for free would def make a change

By definition, NFT holders are not shareholders and NFT companies are not public companies, but you can see different approaches taken by teams in this space towards their communities. Some treat their communities as their shareholders (looking to reward them and be as transparent as they could) and the others are treating their communities as consumers. Sadly RTFK up until now are clearly on the side who treats their community as consumers along side Azuki, doodles, MB and more. What I want to know, is that if this topic was being cleared until this point, is the team aware that they can look towards creating revenue for holders and thus generating more revenue to them instead of using their community for their revenue and do they have any plans to change it?

but theres no electronic component in the physical version of the dunks

theres a digital version of the dunks/skin vials tho
