Because there is no designated operator, the server's governance policy is unclear, which leads to these kinds of debates.

Every holder participating here has their own opinion, and finding a 100% correct answer is difficult at this stage.

This is one of the reasons why I launched the dedicated CloneX REVIVAL Discord server.

Frankly, community members should be focusing on the future and historical growth of CloneX, rather than spending time and energy on these kinds of internal matters.

I usually just have bluetooth connection issues if I've left them uncharged for too long. You can use the wayback machine to get the FAQ page for cryptokicks and there is a part about doing a factory reset. Kinda a pain in the knuckles because you have to hold down the buttons really long, but it's always sorted it out. Not sure how good it is for the long-term battery life, but I just store them on the chargers and they're always good to go now. Found an out-of-the-way spot under a record cabinet and they just live there waiting for me to find motivation to take a walk.

Never had a real problem with the auto-lace, I actually really enjoy just being able to walk into them and keep going. Nice party trick too. By far the best thing is being able to drop them into zen mode on a long flight and not have to smash my face into the tray table to mess with laces. Really sucks that they've dropped support for this and haven't open-sourced it. Could have been a whole ecosystem of cool step tracking apps.

He said something to the extent of don’t gamble more than you can afford to lose - sound advice no doubt but it tanked the high from like 30eth to 3eth in hours. To me, that was the first insight into the direction of the brand and the reked the hype - for better or worse. Perhaps it shook off those just looking for profit but that’s what things were about back then IMOP. Sure, the brand was/is so tight with some of the best creative around but let’s be honest, peeps were about their bags.

inside you got dunks + vial + MNLTH2 as well,

M2 alone was trading for 5E out the gate, then the dunk + vial prices felon described

the dunks + skin vial system + bonus mnlth i think was recieved reasonably well but at 10E it was pretty much impossible to meet expectations,

but looking back at it now, that entire dna vial ecosystem died the most brutal death of all,

i imagine when people were spending 10E on skin vial ecosystem they were dreaming one day those assets might playable in GTA6 online some day. Shame how little really came out of it especially if you consider what was goiing through the mind of everyone ape'ing in.

Nah, mate. That’s like arguing that “soft cheating” in games is just part of the culture. Or cheating in general.

The moment we stop clearly condemning it, we normalize it. Silence doesn’t mean neutrality, it signals permission. And once an ecosystem shows it can’t or won’t police itself, regulators step in.

They see the potential in the technology, but they’re wary of the scams, the fake volume, and the values being quietly tolerated.

More importantly, they’re worried about their own mainstream audiences. Telling them “we don’t really talk about that” doesn’t build confidence. It destroys it.

If Web3 wants to thrive, it needs the mainstream. However uncomfortable that may be, there’s no version of the future where it survives without them.

hey gang, does anyone have a sort of breakdown/teardown or blueprint for the CiRL shoes and their lace engine? I've come to the conclusion that my battery is indeed fried on my right shoe, and need to perform some surgery to replace it. Thankfully, the lace engine can be seen under the in-soles, and can possibly be removed form the sole. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That oregon article/leak seems like the worst thing that could’ve happened to us at this point. IMHO all it did is set us up for more of the same past mistakes: partial leak -> hype builds initially -> no new news after a reasonable time causes hype to die -> actual announcement leads to even more disappointment than the delays caused.

To clarify, I am cautiously optimistic about what the new ‘ownership or leadership’ will bring to the table, BUTTTT so far this whole ‘RTFKT sale’ is following the timeline of prior RTFKT mistakes all too closely.

I understand what you're talking about, I had the same feelings with GCG. But now I think the situation may change. Firstly, Nike would not sell RTFKT to anyone, and secondly, they would not sell it for a cheap price, which in turn leads to the conclusion that new investors will at least want to return the investment. There is only one question, what kind of expectation each individual member of the community is experiencing. There will always be unhappy and joyful holders in any slusai. And most importantly, it's better than having the project gathering dust on Nike's shelf.
