Yes, it looks cool and it opens up new opportunities for the holders as well as the creators. The point is all clones will then have a different fp depending on how upgraded it is and if you buy a cheap one, you won't be able to upgrade it as easily which also makes sense. Unfortunately, the top marketplaces are not as active in supporting new technology. Maybe we'll see a new mp that will innovate, it would be a breath of fresh air for space

But they are only open during certain time frames and once it’s done then there’s no more produced as it’s made to order

To add onto the caveat/devil's advocate here, Nike's revenue stems from footwear for the most part, while the rest is generated through general apparel - Yuga and Azuki don't have a corpropate political machine behind them; Unless Nike is running their web3 division under a completely different operation without any suit trying to overstep the direction, it would be hard to really just bet on Nike purely bc they're nike

tl;dr to my long message --> Nike revenue isn't that broad, they're really good at 1 thing, and they're big enough to be really bad at web3 from a long-term pov

im just coming back to this project after a long time, so i'm not too caught up with who the execs are that control nike web3, but if its nike web2 folks then that's probably why its not doing great

web3 moves faster and most web2 company's chain of commands limit the ability to keep up; thus creating corporate politics
