Hard disagree.
It's a lands matter deck and you really want to drop a land every turn.
Also you really want to put in every fetchland there is for the double landfall and 1 sac trigger.
Cracking the fetchland also depends on your board sometimes.
The commander also gives you access to consistent draw and the fetch lands shuffle your deck. Getting land flooded is simply really bad luck.
You underestimate that the deck has ways to recover fetch lands from the GY, so you do need to have targets for them in the deck
I dont underestimate that, and I had a full set of fetches and all the other tap fetches, sometimes bad luck is just bad luck regardless
Also you can switch some lands that offer more utilities like [[Twisted Landscape]]
The plane of new York had some new basic fetches that don't come tapped
The land base definitely can be tweaked but I wouldn't change the amount of lands
I disagree, even if you have fetches you can still hit land pockets or land droughts, sure statistically its more likely you wont the more land you have, well at least for droughts, but it can happen and I had it happen at least twice, maybe 3 times, adding 4 more land wouldnt have necessarily changed that. It might have helped but if all the land is grouped in the bottom half of your deck and your not drawing fetches, it doesnt matter how many lands you have
a much more useful solution would simply have been to resort the deck so the land was better distributed
That seems more like bad shuffle skills honestly.
I kept the deck at 42 lands total and switched some ratios, added better fetches and added some better lands.
All in all I never had a problem getting land flooded especially with the commander out and the draw and additional land drop ability.
And most of the time you simply just want to set up as many lands as possible to use them as fodder for some end game combo
[[luwen, imperfect]] goes hard in this deck
Legendary Creature — Elf Druid
When Lluwen enters, mill four cards, then you may put a creature or land card from among the milled cards on top of your library.

"I know I belong somewhere—just not here."
1/3
Honestly doesn't seem that great to me
At first it doesn’t but with fetch lands in grave it goes pretty crazy
It scales faster than you think it’s always putting bodies on the board and helps when you get [[darkmor salvage]]
its better for a different kind of lands matter deck
it works better with the self-mill/dredge kinds of decks, and not nearly as much as with a sacrifice deck
Hmm, I'm not buying it tbh
Like, I'd rather add more mass land recursion for the 5 mana to make all those 1/1s
They’re bodies to block if they don’t have trample
At that point just go with the Gitrog combo
I just kill em faster than they kill me
I’ve gotten my 15 min durdle turns down to like 5mins
I wonder if strixhaven gave us any good cards
I think flashback is decent
But idk
Maybe [[charging strife]] to help rummage
[[dina’s guidance]] is okay
