always start with an outline going by the corners of your house it being logs or something like that i normally use logs because thats what looks good. never make a house strictly with one type of wood but rather with 2 or 3 it makes it look good and also have a bit of style to it. never do a one block high window always 2 or higher anything low like that looks ugly unless your building a house with a basement type thing peeking from below on the ground (ive actually never done this but one day) uhh lets see always go outwards from your house by one stair or slab when your doing the roof it never looks good when its not pulled out
