this is an incredibly hard question for me to answer given im not completely aware of what goes on behind the scenes, but from what i've heard all of the developers from the game are incredibly passionate towards it and the ideas proposed by the community, but the higher ups who ultimately oversee the game don't like what the community is proposing due to it not maximising profit in an already expensive project.

if i was the owner (full control over another axiom staff and it's games), i think i would immediately cut off gorilla tag mobile as that has taken away a LOT of core developers from orion drift, ultimately starving the game further. but i also think that i would put orion drift back into closed early access because the whole "release" of the game was incredibly messy, given the ENTIRE concept of the game changed from the first look to what it is now.

i think another axiom needs to set a proper direction for orion drift, as currently they FULLY rely on unpaid community staff to use the level editor program to make content for the game, which is about the only thing that is keeping the game from dying. but it's really annoying seeing how every update a bunch of cosmetics come out, and then some awesome community gamemode that is incredibly limited by what another axiom has done to the game constraints wise.

another thing that drives me nuts is how all of the community managers of another axiom at orion drift have LESS total messages combined than a single backend developer... i think that speaks clearly for how they don't really value communication and transparency as much as they often claim they do. also a lot of the daily / weekly interactions we get from developers where we can actively give feedback is with artists, who (no offence) have little to no control of how the game actually develops. and then finally the dev talks for orion drift are often very incocistent timing wise, and when they do come out, are about topics that the community does NOT want to hear about.

note: i'm a teenager so i'd likely ruin the game more, but theoretically these changes should make the game better
