I keep being reported for cheating in public lobbies. I specialize in niche game mechanics, such as tux climbing and underplats. Because skepticism of cheating is so high, when kids see me do these mechanics they've never seen before, I'm assumed a cheater and reported.
I am not banned, but I am afraid I might get banned again for "continued cheating" since it has already happened to me before for the same thing.

My question is, is there something I can do to keep being banned besides changing the way I play? I would think it unfair for that to be the expected solution.

Well, if kids don’t have information about game mechanics then they get overwhelmed and sometimes get frustrated and report the player or maybe even assuming you, but I can tell you that you can always contact Gorilla tag through their websites and if you do get banned, you can always appeal for an explanation for a second chance at the game. But if kids do this or if anyone like that, gorilla tag always has proof and logs of designated reports from the local report system.

I did, but their argument was that it doesn't prove I wasn't cheating at the time of the reports. They don't accept reasonable doubt of ban as grounds for unban. They give the prosecuted the burden of proof.

Well, there’s timestamps and what date and reason you got reported for and if a decent amount of players report your player it basically means that they will receive a notification basically watching you’re report count and they have rpcs for many other reasons too.

The issue with quest cheating is that there are no quest cheats that make you move at an impossible speed. Any speed achievable by over clocking the processors and raising the predictions is also achievable by being a superhuman athlete. This means that no auto log system could detect these quest cheats. The only way to combat this is to make a skill based matchmaking game mode (what ranked should be). When the top players flood into ranked, the reports of cheaters hold way more weight because they are way more accurate. Not only does it get rid of a lot of cheating, but it protects the professional players, such as me, from getting false banned

Nah there are plenty of quest cheats. It's different than speed boost achievable on steam though, since you still jump at the same speed. The quest cheats make your controllers behave differently (predictions and low frame rates), which makes your in game hands move farther than your hands in real life. Basically, it increases the capacity for speed for a normal human a lot because they can move their hands less and still be fast.

Unfortunately, even low hz is not able to be detected, since this is usually simulated low hz, and frame drops are normal for any quest game. It would be impossible to distinguish between the laggy ones and the purposefully laggy ones
