well, i've already made an extremely detailed support submission, but to sum it all up;
i've tried getting GTAG to work with PCVR using numerous kinds of apps/connection processes, and the movement is always janky in the exact same way. the main thing that confuses me about it though, is that i vividly remember there being an update made specifically to balance and fix the movement across quest/pc, so i don't understand why this would be happening. if you'd want any extra info on the movement, i could rec some vids and dm them later as well.

as i state in the submission, i've been looking for a fix to the movement since 2024, eventually giving up on my idea of becoming a content creator as a whole because of it

Yeah things like smaller hand taps have a larger effect on movement, controllers can be slightly angled depending on what platform you’re on (typically steamVR has this issue), you can feel more “floaty” at times, and slippery surfaces don’t have as strong of an effect like they do on standalone.

Yeah pretty much, it’s just something a lot of people have to get used to! I personally don’t like playing on PCVR because of those reasons, so I just main standalone unless I need to use PCVR, for example when doing live streams.

Oh yeah thats a pretty common issue, its happened to me before, check if you're on the newest version of Utilla, that usually fixes it! If not, try deleting utilla, check if its fixed, so you can determine if it is utilla or not. If it is fixed without utilla installed, you can try an older or newer version to see if it fixes it.
