id imagine it would break their build flow in some way shape or form and they would be too lazy to fix it to accomodate it, gorilla tag is an absolute mess and most of their updates are very minimally tested in an effort to push updates as rapidly as possible to sell more stuff.
theyre a company now, they dont care about the quality of the stuff they push as long as it makes money akin to most other AAA studios nowadays. you dont maximize profit margins by putting tons of effort in, you botch an update quickly and push it with more paid cosmetics

• IL2Cpp wouldn't stop us either, you can just use MelonLoader or BepInEx 6 especially since you can just look at the previous update for Mono assemblies if you need to for reference
