I saw that there's rope physics added to Gorilla Tag, cool awesome.

I'm working on a 'fan game' VR platformer in Unity that has platforms you latch onto with grip, However, when the platform moves, the hands do not, and therefore the player stands still until the hand is no longer in contact with the platform and then falls.

My question for you: how do you manage to keep your hands (which are used for moving around) to stick to the rope - And be able to move your body while attached to the rope - when they would otherwise bounce off like all the rest of the geometry?

I tried parenting the hand to the object it's grabbed to, but that doesn't seem to transfer where to move.
