I am aware this is not the place to appeal an in-game ban. I am not seeking to do that. I'm trying to find out if it's possible to see why a ban was put in place beyond the (generally unhelpful) message one sees when banned. My 13-year-old keeps getting reported for "toxicity", however I have no idea what he's doing that's toxic. He doesn't even have mic access so he's not talking to them or anything like that. I've tried asking this through the ban appeal process but have not received any information after 2 weeks.

when someone reports someone else, it’s only the click of two buttons on the leaderboard- there’s not really an option to go into detail with it. if he was banned for toxicity, then the most likely cause of the ban was him stacking up reports from other players in a bunch of different lobbies

no not usually, if I had to guess where the toxicity reports came from I’d guess it was from things like arguments, regardless though since the ban isn’t permanent he’ll get all this cosmetics/shiny rocks back when the ban expires, and I’d recommend telling him to avoid arguments with others by muting the person or switching lobbies

When a player submits a report, does the ban process take into account how many times that player has submitted a report, and how many times those other reports have coincided with another ban? What is done to ensure it's not a group of people being ***holes?

yes, it does- real people look at the reports, let’s say for example someone joins a lobby and immediately reports everyone else, it’s clear those reports aren’t accurate ones. If someone tries to “spam” report by clicking the report button over and over again, only the initial report will go through, the rest are completely worthless

when you go to the computer in stump there’s a section labeled “queue” from there you can choose minigames, default, or competitive

hm that might be the issue. if he doesn’t know how to swap queues, then he’s likely still in default queues instead of competitive ones, and going based off of the fact he is banned by getting reported a lot, he might be dominating default queue lobbies too much to the point where people report him
