the announcement for the vote stated that voting rebuild would be taking us to new heights, implying when it's rebuilt, we will be using it to go elsewhere

plus, it'd be just plain stupid to make a vote where one option results in literally NOTHING

I dont think its dead for 4 reasons

1: after you defeat it the 3rd time its pupils still move around and it still makes noise and moves slightly showing heavy signs of life

2: in the newest video they never say its dead they just say its permanently contained and on top of that they say people want to release it meaning its alive

3: its still avaliable as a boss fight AND its known to be able to heal from injurys like its eyes being hurt

4: again in the video they say now thats its contained they can study it meaning its alive and healthy enough to research its behaviors and intelligence properly

5: they never even say its dead at all in the new video so combined with the other reasons there no reason to think its dead

My guess is the event is where we rebuild the rocket but the monster breaks out of containment (Or maybe is was never in containment because GCorp lied!). I think we might have to fight it and really kill it this time (Maybe we'll even get to see the moon eye again, as I think it's controlling the monster)
