If possible maybe try adjusting stats to increase ranged ATK/cav HP. Possibly switch death archer to child of light to cut front damage or back to black crow to cut some of that damage to ranged but either will cost some attacking damage.

Tempestite isn't the best third fam since it stuns an inf squad against cav front, but I don't know if you have a better option (cav shield or ranged p5 damage familiars would be great; possible alternatives include a cav HP increasing proc familiar, or a minus ranged or cav HP passive, or the 15% ranged ATK passive). Could try inf wedge, too, but I think ranged phal buffers better against wall (it has cav front because of inf buffer movement before wall drop which is what we want in this case).

A completely different option is to use your cav blast but pull some cav for inf, have ranged buffers, and try ranged wedge, cav phal, and cav wedge to try to hit with cav+backline inf but this (in ranged wedge) is better against ranged phalanx than ranged wedge. I don't think it outperforms the 055.

I think maybe you can win it if you just use ranged phalanx rather than wedge, cut your buffers to 4 each, and fill the march with cav.

If not a strictly two type comp of ranged/cav troops with ranged HP and cav atk heroes and ranged loss proc familiars with probably your mixed set may work better.

I've played F2P for 3 years. Nearly all my gear is purple with multiple golden even. Most of it comes from events like Extravaganza and Bargain Store.
You just need to hoard gems and speed ups like a dragon. Being in an active guild that hunts a lot of monsters helps a ton. You can also get a lot of jewels from buying jewel chests with guild coins.

you can also make a hyper food farm on an alt and when it gets to a certain point of production then you can trade that for jewel chests in gems

2 years for t4 is extremely long.
T5 for f2p you can forget about it.
T5 costs archaic tomes, and only source for them is packs.
Events give ridiculously low amounts for the f2p ones. And gems... 1k for nearly 1m gems isn't a great deal. Tomes should go to counter research in military tree, then into familiar slot 4. After that depends on what you are aiming for, and what guild you're in. But t5 if you're not spending is not worth trying

Yeah, t5 is technically possible for f2p but that takes years to get there. I think I was close to enough books at some point (not quite though) but I ended up using them for something else (and I'm playing for a little more than 4 years I believe). I'm not nescessary the most efficient player though. But T5 f2p would take at least 5 years of playtime doing the events regularly in my opinion (I don't buy the books with gems either) . Not sure if it's worth it though.

actually no, 2200's. But I just tried that, and in 11 combats I had to change everything 8 times. Only once did I get more than 1 combat in a row successful. I honestly don't have time to change specs manually 30 or 40 times in 50 combats.

For blasts just send the troop that counters it and like 500 buffers. If your still failing blasts you probably don’t have high enough stats

For mix you can try your strongest blast with some buffers if that doesn’t work try to complete 1 stage through trial and error then next reset try blasts again to see if you can quick sweep

I think you can inf blast it. Is it in inf wedge defense? Try with ranged and cav buffers and use cav phal if so. Maybe alternatively inf phal or ranged wedge if it is in inf phal. There are other ideas that might work better. But you look capable of killing all the inf and took only 65k damage, so finding some way of inf blasting that does that is probably the simplest solution.

Trial By Fire Mix blitz guide

1. Wear your mix equipment, familiars, heroes and talents.
2. Attack
3. Look at enemy formation in battle report.
4. Look at enemy castle and see the troop type with highest count.
5. Send a 50/50 double type attack, countering both the front and the troops.

Example: It has 40K Inf, 170K Rng and 40K Cav, using Cavalry Phalanx.

Solution: Send an Inf+Rng (550) attack using any formation. During fails, increase either type and decrease other.

Enjoy high speed Trial by Fire clearing.
