Wall research was the problem, I never drop shield on those accounts so didn't have much wall research done.. used some technolabes to speed through research and it cleared stage.... much thanks Cali :)

Completing the stages you're still limited to stats/ research you have available on your account eg. Hero lvl, troop lvl , research. ... that particular stage (1285 Inf) it simulated an attack to my castle... because I had no research to my walls no traps defended the army attack , morals dropped and I lost when the wall fell.... after doing some research to wall, I was able to defend the attack.
However with my other acc the Range defense worked, my range army was able to defend the attack over the wall.
But Im guessing the higher the stages, research may start to play a bigger role in winning
