Set goals for new recruits. (i.e. minimum might required to join) make you guild private so folks must apply to join. Then make it so they must message before applying or don’t accept them. Warriors need to message you with a screenshot of their gears on discord or other social media your guild uses. Farmers need to do the same in hunting gears. You see drums a lot in early game / with noobs / f2p because they're cheap. It's an inefficient strategy for long term gains to build and max early on (they are what you want for a cav blast set). Like how eating a bunch of candy when you're 6 years old will make you gain a lot of weight fast, and it's really cheap, but it's a bad strategy for long term. Sure you'll be able to beat up the other 6 year olds today, but tomorrow you'll just be lame and the kid who ate veggies and trained will be kicking your butt.

Long term you're better off using those Gargantua eyes on the belt and focusing on better accessories for mix set. Drums aren't bad gear, just not a priority if you're playing smart.

There's a few pieces that are useful before lv60 but you're right; most of the best equipment is lv60 and it's perfectly sensible to wait till then. You need to build up troops anyway.

If you're gear is alright DN4 is perfectly doably without T4. Even easy DN5 (think lvl 15 essence and 1 troop type) are perfectly doable. Aslong as you have a big enough battlehall and boosts above 300%. Golden heroes help out as well :) clearing DN's is partly knowledge, partly luck.

Darkest comp is far more relevant than the level. If you spend more time scouting to find the easy nests, you'll spend less time wasting on ones that fail and have to try again.
Especially with dn4... It's not that hard to find one that's only got 1 type in it, or an easy to counter 2-type.

Some people just get it into their heads that they have to keep bashing away at a bad nest until they "find the hack" or whatever right formation will kill it. It's better to just move on most of the time. Don't run mix nests

Honestly, you only make enough T3 to tide you over until you get t4. Make enough that you can send to a rally, maybe 300k each type. Then you only make T2. Once you get t4, you won't need any T3 again.

T3 are the most expensive troop type for cost ratio, and also the weakest. They lose morale fast

To avoid confusion: T3 aren't the weakest troop type. They are, of course, stronger than T1/T2. Just not as strong relatively with how the cost and might scales.

But yeah you should put some range and cav in just to fill out your squads. For war attacks some siege will improve your chance of walkbacks. It's pretty common to put some T2 buffers in, around 10% of your troops if you're soloing on a first hit to mitigate losses.

Honestly there isn't any one "normal" or perfect / universal setup, everyone seems to have their own Quirks and preferences.

And then it's different if you're attacking solo on a Castle, rallying a Castle, attacking a darkest, leading wonder forts, then attacking or defending forts is a whole extra level of comps.

The options available for you:

• get the mole shaman familiar. You should do that anyway, it allows you to repair your wall in one day (50% of the max HP and then the other 50% after 24h). If you have merging speeds you might be able to get it fast.

• you can ask in your guild if anyone can gift you some speeds

• you can trade RSS for speeds, try asking in your guild or in your kingdom chat if you have enough RSS

• you can buy a pack and get enough gems and speeds to heal your wall (the 99c super savings pack might have enough gems for you, or a let's celebrate would probably be most recommended for this situation)

• you sigh, skip Dragon arena this week and keep your Castle shielded to protect the wall.

Each hell event is different. On the hell it will tell you what the requirements are and what the points are worth. research is 1 might increase = 1 point. So you just complete a research of that much might (or several) and that completes the hell. Training is points per troop with varying levels per troop tier. Hunting has points that vary for hits / kills on different level monsters. Merging is based on pact level.

On the screen where it says what the hell needs, tap that box and it gives you a breakdown on points.

I can't tell you what they will be because it changes for every hell and the requirements are different at ever Castle level. Hells are very easy at low Castle levels

When you purchase a $100 pack you unlock Gift Access, basically you can gift another guild member an item you can purchase with gems, with your own gems. So you’re not gifting gems but gifting items worth a certain amount of gems. (i.e 3 Day shield - 4,400 Gems)

As for how to increase might quickly as f2p, first thing you should know is it's going to take a long time so no need to rush. It's not a competition.
Focus on important researches like military and monster hunting. Don't be tempted by the easy might you can get from claiming quest might or wall research.
Use your speed ups during important hell events like the ones that give orbs or watcher. And save technolabes for important researches that take a long amount of time

First off.. don't research traps. They're useless in the long run. Don't do any researches under Defense 1 and 2.

Focus on economy, military and monster hunt trees for now

As for gems, save your gems... You're going to need a lot of gems when you're about to unlock T4 and subsequently.
Don't spend gems on holy stars, it's not worth it. It's better to buy tokens and use those during tycoon hell events with watcher.

To unlock T4, you need a little over 600k gems. That's a lot and it'll take a couple months before you can get those as f2p.

So only things you should spend your gems on are tokens, bargain store when it shows, and building materials for academy level 25
