It’s the ratio of troops. Usually people say a number which is separated into Infantry-Range-Cavalry ratios.
848 = 8-4-8 and it means 80k Inf + 40k Range + 80k Cav
Usually they add up to 10 or 20 because a normal filler can send 200k troops in general
So it makes it easy to send according to ratios
If the numbers don’t add up to 10 or 20, maybe they are bad with maths

Different compositions have different advantages when fighting in wonder battles. Depending on enemy’s comp, people usually try out different comps

Try to get T4 research tree done , skip wall researches , you only need monster hunting up to lvl3 , no need to do a lot on subsidies but it's fine if you do , the 4th tree 2nd row ( I forgot its name) do up to mythic ability, but you can also advance further and unlock more capacity for your treasure trove, army leadership tree , gotta do it all eventually but no rush , finish T5 tree as soon as you finish T4 tree , familiar tree get up to pact 4 and then stop , familiar battles get to 3 slots , and once you have 3 good fams ( lvl10) push for 4th slot , sigils tree you can do helmet sigils , and the rest you can ignore

There is no difference between f2p or p2p in the order of making champs but it really depends on the goal
Universally everyone makes legs first. Inf legs will help you in wonder battles, cav legs are better for defense pvp ( depends on your comp though). I don’t know who makes range legs

You should focus on artifacts honestly
They give such an insane amount of stats, especially if you are playing again and haven’t done any artifacts yet
But you should definitely check how to level up and enhance them before you start doing stuff

Ideally you want to get blue ones to 5 stars first for blue shards, then get purple ones to 5 stars for purple shards and then go for the gold ones
Don’t level up the blue ones, level the purple ones if they give useful boosts but only till level 4/5
Go all in for levelling gold ones

The current state of your gear is going to be short lived so doesn’t matter too much
Ultimately you will go for gold/mythic gears so in that case, making legs will be good
Your frostwing sword is good, mitts, ring, scroll, firewall plate are all easy to do
Main issue will be tassels, bumblehelm, cup, all are difficult to do from chests
If you can replace one of these with a champ piece, it should be tassets

Tassets are a pain by themselves and champ legs give a good boost over it
Comparatively cav helm is also very good but bumblehelm is not too bad in comparison
Acc is good but very costly
So, seeing cost and benefits if you are a trap, cav legs are the way to go
