Try to upgrade your castle, it helps a lot for later. I stopped at lvl 24 because i didnt need 25 and events were easier

For research, it depends on your playstyle, but I always try to make those who allow you to grow faster

Like construction speed, lvl 10 is a must have. There is also the hunting tree that helps a lot, but dont do it if you want a trap account

Dont make too much troops when you start, so that you wont need to use shields.

And for familiars, same, try to do those who have skills for growing (familiars are something later)

Finally, for gear you need 1 for building, 1 for research and 1 for familiars

Focus on accessories

2 of each type

If you dont know what that is, these are equipemetns who give bonus stats. You can craft them in workshop. Sentinel circlet for build and lubar flute for research

So then… why do people build T4 traps at all? You still have to unlock T4 (extra research might + gem cost), and you could just train more T3s for the same might and similar power. So what’s the real advantage of using T4 for trapping? What am I missing here?

Even though your might would be lowered, the wounded troops in infirm or sanctuary are counted towards your might when wanting to migrate
