Horn is cheaper since it doesn't require flames, but it only gives 2% attack from the upgrade whereas gold to mythic chest gets you an 8% boost

So it depends on how much you're looking to spend and how quickly you're looking to upgrade

For a player like me who is almost done with research and has enough troops to cap multiple rallies, it's pretty worth

@hallow falcon if you're just starting out, the biggest advice is building a trap is a huge amount of work to put in. Are you P2P? Can cost a fair bit.

Especially because you shouldn't open any quests to keep your might low, so you don't get the rewards from that, and you should only unlock the heroes you specifically need (again to keep might low), but that gives you more disadvantage to build the account. Same with monster hunting - most good traps don't do MH research to keep might low, so there's another thing that slows your progress.
Most people make up for that by buying packs

You just have to train a couple million troops. So, a fuckton of RSS for that (like, billions), and then never forget to shield it ever unless you're online and ready, otherwise you'll wake up to find you got rallied and zeroed
