Actually it's pretty common for big guilds who actually know what they're doing to set a filler to run a test rally, or send a leaderless rally, just to see if the target counters and what the might drop is like. Because you don't know if they're online, you don't know if they've got 40m troops or 10m. And serious war guilds don't care about sacrificing a filler lead or sending a leaderless rally and losing some T2 for the benefit of getting more info to potentially zero a big target

My guild encourages everyone to try leading rallies, especially in DA.
But even not in DA, just PvP targets, if it's a small less than 5m troops, sure some of the bigger members could gb or solo it, sure, one of the strongest rally leads could cap it in one hit... But we encourage smaller people to try so they get more experience and confidence in rally leading. And sure, they aren't likely to cap in one hit, but on small targets they get a decent hit and then we solo the rest.

Helps upskill as many members as possible, shares kills, reduces healing compared to soloing, and the targets get zeroed anyway 🥰

We have a rally lead with stats over 1000% and obviously he can crush anything. But he'll still sit back and let 500m members lead a rally; just fill and give helpful instructions.

I have a friend who used to be in one of the "big famous" mega war guilds. She had a 1,7b account with solid comp, wonder research, heroes, full Mythic gear, decent stats... Just not "maxed account rally lead" at the top of the elite level... And she'd never even run a darknest because they didn't let her and she didn't know how. She thought I was wildin that at 400m might I was taking down dn6 with only 360% and rallying wonders in DA.

I convinced her to try a simple dn5 and she left that big name guild to join us 🥰
