When the store pops up after a random amount of time after opening the game, prevent input for like half a second or something. It's really frustrating when I'm 30 seconds into doing something in my castle, and suddenly a new button appears right under my finger and I click it on accident, then have to wait for the in-app purchase page to load before being able to close anything.
And have the Embassy show who's reinforcing. It's dumb that scouts can see who all has troops in a castle, but the owner of the castle can't.

In game trading. Meaning trade items of rarity not just gifting. For example, I need to upgrade my gear. My guild mate gets a gold drop or blue or whatever and they no longer need it because they have it mythic. Maybe even make it cost gems for both parties to unlock say 100k or so and you can trade certain level of rare items and can cap it if necessary too like no more than 2. Just an idea. So many war tomes, soul crystals go to the donation bin in Guild bash when they could be going to a player in need.

How about might brackets in kingdoms? Most games don't pit newbs against world leaderboard players like Lords does. Would make things interesting if certain kingdoms were locked to specific might ranges. I don't think IGG would lose any money on it, and it would be a lot of fun. Could be like KvK where you can travel to the kingdom to fight, but it ejects you back home if your might falls outside the valid range. P2W players could spend all their money on mythic champ gear at 50M might to crush some newbz, so there's still profits lol

Maybe even categorize kingdoms too. But that could get boring. Since there are guilds that only monster hunt, farming guilds, etc why not make specific kingdoms for them. But I see why they don't either. Too boring and at the end of the day it is a war game

The game seems dead because there is a huge gap between F2P and P2P players.
The game consists of mostly F2P accounts, that end up getting dominated way too much by P2P accounts.
As a result, accounts are abandoned, Guilds go silent, Kingoms in ruins, and even the chat is vacant.
There needs to be several mechanics that either prevents P2P user to bully F2P users constantly, or a limiter that incentivises battling your own stregnth players.
And before anyone says, Capturing a level 60 leader is not enough. It's just not a big enough incentive.

2 Things
First off it is the shop pop up. While it can be useful for those actively looking for packs to buy, it starts to become redundant for those who do not buy packs going as far as disrupting people's ability to play. Most of the time the shop pop up is just annoying but does not disrupt gameplay, however in some cases it can disrupt a player's ability to react if they are being attacked. If a player's shield went down or their troops came out of shelter and someone launched an attack towards their turf, they may see that notification and race to go online in order to react. The shop pop up may cost that player those few precious seconds to react to the attack and may cause them to be set back and to the furthest extent, zeroed. This is frustrating especially if a player was only 2-3 seconds away from hitting getting a shield on and those seconds had to be spent on closing down a pop up that occurs every time you log into the game. If anything this should become a preference that can be changed in settings rather than be applied to every player.
Secondly is a mail schedule function. Many guilds may have reminders for events or important messages they want to send at a certain time. A scheduling system would be useful for those cases. This would allow leaders or R4s to compose their mail beforehand and automatically send it at a specified time. It makes it easier than having to remember to send out a message at a certain time.

Oh another thing. The protection phase of newer kingdoms was recently extended. When you go outside of your kingdom maps, where you can see all the kingdoms, it is displayed how many days are left for a specific kingdom to open, but the timer goes from 90 to 0 and then again from 90 to 0. It’s confusing, can’t you make it to start from 180 or at least differentiate those 90s please? I always end up looking around to make sure it’s the first or second half. Thank you

There wouldn't be a timer on refreshing quests if they didn't want to punish you with bad ones. The simpler solution to the same problem would be to remove the cooldown, and ideally have all quest types appear on the screen at once.
Guildfest is just poorly designed in general since it's centered around RNG and waiting. It makes it worse that guilds treat it like a job, so if checking the list every half hour for a week isn't fun for you, you get kicked. The spirit of guildfest is nice and all: work together and get some okay-ish rewards, but it would be nice if there were options that all types of players could enjoy.

F2p can't complete hell events regularly. Especially not 3 years into the game when every research takes months and all constructions are done. Gems could buy them, but 600-700 gems per roll isn't worth it. You could spend 2 month's worth of gems to get a dozen chests that give all gray materials.
Tycoon is a nice addition, but it's not something that's worth dedicating all your time and resources on. I know p2p players aren't using all their speed ups to get tokens from hell events, or spending all their gems on it. They're getting their tokens in addition to everything else, so tycoon is just a bonus for them.
Lords is a game, not a service. You could say "you get what you pay for" to a service, but in a game, that's not meant to be the case.

GAME: Some form of buff or rework of the Defence tree or Defence in general would be great.
In its current state, defence is taught to players that they should never invest in the tree ever as it is completely useless and provides no help to any players later on in the game, and only serves to make things worse such as wall repair time for things like Dragon Arena.
Having 2 Trees of research (Defence + Upgrade Defence) that are completely left untouched is a massive waste. All things associated with defence are left untouched really, including the Defence boosts.
A buff in some form of how defence works in the game (Could be changed to provide greater advantages but ONLY when defending, not attacking to balance out the stat)
This would entice players to build into defence and allow them to "Trap" or defend more effectively.
I would like to say that I am not sure how it could be changed, and I leave that open to others thoughts, but I believe that there is a general concensus that defence needs to be somehow changed.
TL;DR - Rework of Defence Research or Defence in General.

What I really don't like is the holiday events that add the little cutesy characters inside turfs next to the castle, so if you play with sound on, it's a month straight of random noises when trying to listen for scouts. I'd kill for a way to mute those characters.

In colosseum, when clicking "Change" it should cycle through the options in a random order instead of always selecting a random opponent. It's really annoying when there's only 3 or 4 enemies at each tier, but it takes 20 clicks to cycle through them.
So for example if the opponents in range on the first row are [73, 72, 71, 70], it could shuffle them to something random like [71, 73, 70, 72], so if you click "Change" 4 times, you'll see all of them.

^ I keep sounds on for the same reason. I spend a majority of my time unshielded, and have been 0'd with the chat screen open on multiple occasions (back when the keyboard covered every pixel of the screen) because I had sound off and couldn't see the red. Ideally they could just have "hostile sounds" as its own sound category so we could disable everything else.

The game should have an event that promotes player collaboration, having fun, and guild cohesion. They should make a 1 day (or shorter) event aimed around killing monsters instead of units, and should turn off PvP during that time frame (except Colosseum).
One example of an event they could do would be something called "Bliss Bash," and could go as follows:
- New bliss themed monsters (called “Bliss Beasts”) are spawning at a higher rate during the event! (Either make new or rename existing monster models to match w/e the theme is, e.g. Frostwing -> Frostwink) (maybe also internally balance this by making those new monsters despawn sooner than normal monsters)
- Attacking a Bliss Beast grants “Joke” tokens! Defeating a Bliss Beast grants additional Joke tokens to everyone who attacked the monster. (this spans across guild lines, so it promotes multiple guilds working together to just kill a monster so everyone gets the bonus. Maybe tailor amount of Joke tokens earned by each player to how much dmg was done to that monster, e.g. a person who did less than 5% can’t earn more than X Joke tokens when the monster is killed, so you don’t have people trying to reap max rewards by doing little to nothing in regards to killing the monster).
- Giving or receiving “Help” during this event grants 1 Joke token to both players.
- Get rewards by collecting Joke tokens! (either by exchanging them for boxes, such as “Happy Hour” or “Fortune Chest,” or just a larger pool of prizes available under the tab where you exchange Guild Coins for items, but instead can only be bought with Joke tokens. Could also make rewards purely progression based, so anyone who hits 100 tokens gets X item, anyone who reaches 200 gets Y item, and etc…)
I think doing a collaborative event like this could be nice after a hectic PvP one in particular, but who knows?

I think the problem with having a timer on food/wood/etc is that clicking on them already had other functionality attached (brings you to your bag). Could be included in the buildings that produce them, but then that doesn't match anima anyway, so still inconsistent. It would be nice info to have, but not really important, and can always just pull out a calculator for it.

@daring dagger It can be a problem at start, when a player has <1M might. At some point it's no problem to have tons of food (for example from guildmates). If upkeep would matter more, then fights would be based more on equipment, talents, skills, etc, than having millions of troops. Currently when both players have 200M+ might it's not worth to fight one on one (only, when at least one of them is a farmer and has upkeep positive).
I am aware, that changing this system, to starvation enabled would break a game and people would resign. It went too far. It's just my vision of better game's experience from my point of view.

Dragon arena: after each dragon arena, I suggests our shield and spot should be retain after the arena because it more or less like a inter House sports in real life after every sport everyone returns to their shelter and safety so, the same thing can be done in game. If it will not be difficult we can attack under shield with troops since familiar attack is possible while shielded, i gg can also work on it and made troops attack possible in ARENA ONLY under shield to avoid loosing the shield after arena.

Surely the entire kingdom isn't filled with only titans. Besides, KvK is the only time those mega might farmers ever stretch their legs. Big mismatches are great for either trapping or burning, depending on which side of the mismatch you're on.
I do, however, think it would be a good idea to keep a measure of how many active players are in each kingdom, and match based on that. I don't think anyone has fun when an active kingdom is matched with an inactive one. It's really sad that I've been hit by my own kingdom 3x more than the enemy kingdom during KvK. Everyone is clearly bored lol.
Building off of that idea, it would be cool if kingdoms had stats that were visible in the world screen to help with migration. Maybe```css

Thing is, the results of colo battles are calculated the moment the battle starts. You can quit it immediately and still win. It would probably cause issues if someone was engaged in multiple battles at once (attacking + defending, or defending against multiple people that all win)

when the attacker fails? um duh. it allows to manual but doesnt guarantee win it still has probability that one might mess up. your saying as tho the attacker is 100% gonna win through sheer skill which i doubt that. because the wrong line up would still lose and if the attack skill doesnt get enough dmg from RNG it would still lose.. its just giving the possibility of winning manually by some properly timed stuns and correct hero targeting instead of automatic and winning by pure luck by stupid stuns or targeting done by the algorithm. also battle timer up still counts as a lost so impossible for attacker to stun indifinitely. if you ever watch the battles you wouldve notice that sometimes there was a possibility of winning but because the skill was targeted wrongly (not due to forced agro but forced auto) which ended up in a lost.

Defending can still be done by algorithm and no unlimited reruns just the number of arena tries. actually i dont see an issue if multiple battles go on. the last battle result will take effect meaning if you drop that many places due to a loss (when still in battle) but win the manual battle you could jump back up and make things more interesting for everyone. Also note there is already a battle timer in place so if the developers want they could actually stop multiple battles from happening at the same time which could be already happening (i have no access to the code so im assuming) thats why when you press change you dont see the same people sometimes cause they are in a defense battle or you hit the same people too many times

Like it's so difficult to do hell events with 500K points only when the only researches you have left are 100 day researches. But at least if you have enough tomes, you can finish off little researches on sigil, gear tree, or familiar battle tree. But the point here is, make tomes more accessible or attainable or whatever cause even if you believe in only benefits p2p players, it also benefits f2p or low budget spenders.

With the legendary, the RNG is much wider, but the average number of jewels you get out of 1,000 chests is slightly higher than the epics. I think that's a fair trade off since they're the same price. More risk for more reward

the regular monster material chance drop because of this mask. the regular monster material/loot box is still more useful as some can be sold for gold or traded in during events such as guild bash events. but this mask just disappear at end of event even if you get extra it cant be used or traded

also some people have no idea what the Blueprints do since there is no "info button" to tell you but i know what it does it just show the results of any combination of shards& trophies which you could sell or put in a hero which i normally always get done asap ..way before a guildfest quest requires me to.. i find it redundant though. (they are found between shards and medals) but it seems to be the best screen to be on since no animation.

Every pixel on the screen is redrawn every frame as long as the game is open. While an animation might be 1 extra draw call, it won't impact battery life any more than a static image. (That being said, I still really hate the never-ending sounds. I just want to play in silence unless I'm being attacked.)

so if the same image is redrawn it gets the data from cache memory which is faster and less wastage occurs. which means less power usage where as animation is a changing/moving image which means if would require more than just cache memory. also using black background is better than white background/changing background colour. because it uses less lighting which is less energy all in all

GPUs don't have cache as far as I know. They use VRAM if it's available, or normal RAM when it's not. So a gif/animation should still perform about the same as static images. They do have very small (and fast) texture caches, but when there's already 10 or 20 other textures being rendered every frame (all the high resolution building images in the castle plus the background), none of that is going to persist between frames. They'll stay cached long enough to draw the texture (which accesses it hundreds or thousands of times), then it'll be swapped out for the next one. Of course it depends on how they're storing and rendering everything, but I'm pretty sure nothing is being cached for longer than a frame, animation or not.

On another note, it would be nice if there was a way to view the absolute requirements for a research. With the recent change, you can no longer see what academy level or research level is required for a research if you've already completed it. While it's not necessary information, it does give a good indication of what future requirements will be. For example if starting a new research from level 0 that requires a level 15 academy, and mine is level 24, I can guess that I'll be able to get it to level 9. If it requires a level 24 academy at level 1, I know it'll likely max out much lower.

Constructions are finite. A dedicated f2p player can finish every single construction in the game in a year or 2. Research would probably take a few hundred years, and troops in a war game are never done training (unless you live in a bubble and never use them, in which case you can train all the troops you'll ever need in a couple months)

If your bank is so inactive that you can't login more than once a month to shield then you might as well just delete the resources. 1 week shields are perfect for busy schedules, or 2 weeks if you're going on vacation.
Besides that, people missing shields on accident is the only time anything exciting happens. Adding exponentially longer shield times reduces the chances of that happening, which means less fun

Games aren't real life; they're games. Everyone starts with nothing and is supposed to advance on equal ground by playing. The best players are supposed to be skilled and/or dedicated, not just rich in real life. The pay to win model hardly even qualifies as gaming.
Hunting plays a large role in the game, especially for people that don't spend hundreds or thousands of dollars every year. Making decent hunting gear available by some means just makes sense. With my current luck it'll take me around 1,500 years to get a full set of gold hunting equips. That's really not reasonable. (That's assuming the other equips are as cheap as the accessories and off-hand, which obviously isn't true, so it would really be longer)

- Please add auto use for monster hunting energy
- Add a trading station for materials, boosts, and shields that no one wants. Like trade 10 4 hour shields for 1 24 hour shield. Or have it so you can trade it for gems or with your guildmates!

- Guild leader/r4 appreciatition day/week event. Running a successful guild can be a lot of work and sometimes done without a thank you. You should have an event where guild members can earn points to give gifts to their leaders and leaders can earn points to gift to their members.

As a f2p to be in top 50 is real struggle but what's more disheartening is to see people attack and defeat you with mirror combo( same heroes, same rank, same color). Since you are f2p, everyone else will have same heroes as you in top 50 range. So this is a suggestion to igg to give defense a boost if someone is attacking you with mirror. I know its all rng in mirror matches but people just attack you once or twice and get the win. So just have something in place so that people try out different combos instead of just mirror attacking.

Suggestion for dragon arena: allow 2 time slots. Some Americans are working during euro or Asia time zones and can't participate and same for them if we pick later time slot. Just make it so if someone participates in both slots they can only collect points for medals in 1. That elimates double dipping for the hero but gives more of a chance for everyone to play in it.
