since you need both trophees and medals it's usually a good practice to only use elite (since you get both) if the trophee are in a stage with a hero you didn't already got the medals. But when I still needed the trophy I sometime chose the normal anyway to get them more quickly if I really wanted to increase a rank quicker (ranks are better than grade)

At the end you still need everything so you might as well go for elite

It's really mind bogglingly easy to tell a false info in the majority of cases. It's a terrible way to hide your comp

If the troop count is not divisible by 2 or by 3 you immediately know it's not a fake report.
If it is divisible by 3, 2 or 10, then you spend a few seconds adding up the troop might. If it exceeds the Castle might, right away you know it's false info. It almost always does

If you're still not sure, hit it with a test March. Notice the might reduction. Scout again. Basic arithmetic of troops lost : might lost. Definitive proof of false info.

There are very few instances where false info has any use at all.

Some people make all their troop comp end in 0 so it might look like a false report, but again, a simple test march will disprove it. So it's pointless.

The normal way is

1. Get into the best guild you can in your protected kingdom.
2. Save gems. Save save save. Save speeds. Save everything.
3. Do not research wall.
4. Do Hunt monsters even if you can't kill them at first. Try to get your guild mates to help kill lv1 as you advance.
5. Don't do anything until you know what you're doing (especially don't start forging equipment until you know what you're doing). A day or two delay till you know if something is a good idea or a terrible waste won't hurt in the long run.
6. It's still a very much pay to win game. If you can afford to spend on the game, work out your budget and invest in gear early on. It's a marathon not a sprint. It will take you about a year f2p to get to unlocking T4 troops. This is a grind, but it's still fun playing.

Most of all: If you're not ready to make that kind of effort commitment, or pay to skip the effort, uninstall now.

Technos are 33.333 days original speed. (except in MH tree, where you shouldn't use them). There's no other relevant metric, and this one is so simple to work out if a research is worth it.

The cycle reset every 6h by spawning lvl 1. Not sure how much time before lvl 2, 3, 4 and 5 spawn after the begin of the cycle though. not the full 6 hours are dedicated to make them pop. after a while nothing appear anymore until the next cycle begin.
(also the maximum lvl of the gems spot depend on if you won the kvk or lost it.)

it's usefull to have multiple gyms, springs, ressource producing building (but like Gnome suggested, only one farm if you are not planning to focus on that one. as your soldiers are most likely eat it up quicker than you are producing it), manors and infirmery.
Then for lazy peoples like me: Mystic spear and barracks. It's not necessary as it only allow you to start a bigger batch but the amount of time to finish the task scale so it's not quicker to have a bigger batch. it's just that you'll need to start new batches less often.

Get tomes , exp bottles and all the resource and speedup trades . They'll help you a lot in the future . And I'd recommend to start hypering once you have your main buildings to a good level . Lol this game is a very confusing one for new players . It has a lot of features so try to not get lost
