if you do basic attacks on an enemy and they managed to block it in a weird spot the ai has like a reversal code to basically instantly punish you while you're stuck in recovery, using majority of specials after the basics will keep you safe

the block breaking is a bonus

and plus with the amount of hits on mk11 scorp sp2, it might as WELL be a grapple under normal circumstances
