It's not about draining, it's about their AI

They're just perform stranger than other characters

Most of the bots don't do special abilities without combo, but power drain character do whatever they want to do

sp1 power drainers do act in favor of using it whenever it’s available

in some situations the ai does go crazy, especially any enraged johnny

or hanzo in the corner

there’s no “counter” to them, you have to block then intercept, use specials, or tag to reset the situation

I was in a situation where it was almost impossible for me to escape, as my klassic raiden was in the corner against hanzo and I was stuck on the slow startup cycle of his basic attacks

so hanzo always attacked me as soon as I tried to stand back up and attack or block, and he had block breaker too so it was pretty ineffective

this isn’t an ai specific thing because we can do this all the time on our own but it’s just unfair when it happens a lot

buy 150 gold packs at least 50 times to get respectble roster then save up for offer pack

so your main goal right now is to build your roster up and make sure you have a solid gold team for every class so that you can get far in the challenge towers
you can either buy the 150 soul gold packs if you are impatient. 200 soul spec ops packs IF you want to have a quick FX basic but nice spec ops team.
NEVER buy the 300 soul challenge packs, go for diamond mk11 packs or mk11 skarlet packs like I did so you have a chance of getting a diamond as that will be your endgame once you eventually reach the main goal above

1 hour quests in quest mode will be your best friend, make sure you unlock those so that you have a solid stream of souls

for levelling up. play faction wars (2 fx bronzes and the character you want to level up) OR battle mode tower 32

1. What should I spend koins on

2. I got MK11 kabal and MK11 Scorpion on my first day, got kenshi from my first silver pack, got elder god kenshi, Hanzo hasashi scorpion, hellspawn scorpion, and dark raiden from some other packs I opened

Here is the thing about buying non discounted packs: Consider that the majority of the kards you will receive from most packs are challenge kards. Therefore the price of the pack is the price you are paying for challenge kards until you have them all maxed. This is what makes discounted packs so great for building your kollection. Still, you need enough good characters/teams to have options in towers especially that it’s a tricky balance between needing to build your kollection and saving those Souls for the times they will get you the highest return.
