@quick furnace I know that, most of mine (FOS) stats are maxed. So I assume most vets have at least some stat boosts, yet every team I play in faction wars has FOS stats at zero. I assume devs didn't add for some reason.

I think they do have the stat boosts but they won’t show up in FW. In fact yours also won’t show up in the stats of the team but you do have them

It seems like recovery is the worst of all stats. Even if very high I barely se the effect. Am I not considering something?

Guys, it's way too hard to kill 500 Shinnoks with one single raiden. It's almost impossible, there is no Shinnok in battle mode and nobody plays him in FW.

Also, 3000 combo enders on characters with slow basic attacks and only one combo ender is a hell.

@ember steeple Yes. Beating a specific character is the hardest one to complete. Only if you have to beat Scorpions or Sub Zeros is a bit easier but still takes long time. For all other characters it takes a very long time to complete it.

What sucks is that doing a massive pack opening (like 20) I somehow got the Halloween items outside of Halloween. It recognized it wasn’t Halloween so it won’t let me claim them but realizes I got them. So I show (new items) under taunt which annoying that I can’t clear. I was hoping when the packs came out, everything would sync

You can get halloween taunts from normal packs too, but the chance is very low

#

Try to remember the character you got the taunt for, even if it's not pinged you can still check the tanto to remove the "new items"

Happened the same for me when i got a taunt for a sub0 and it wasn't shown

I did get the Halloween taunt for Johnny Cage but it doesn’t show when you click on his character. It shows a icon of 2 new taunts but no one is flagged with them. It is annoying that I can’t clear them and have to remember that if I see that number climb above 2, I got a new taunt and power up for the character

Trying to complete FoS - Perform 250 X-rays for my gold Spec ops characters
It is possible to create MA X-ray teams and Outworld X-ray teams.
I haven't found a way to do this for gold Spec Ops.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can achieve this ?

Gold spec ops is easy. Elder god Kenshi gives a bar of power if you kill someone with a special. by the time you beat the first two characters with him and so them, your two tagged out characters should each have an x-ray available

Unless you have some passive to increase power gen or some equipment to speed it up, that is one of the fastest sure fire ways now that teamwork is nerfed.

Not sure why? His passive of power works with every class. You said you were looking to get a FoS achievement with a character. You would get it with him feeding power to that character.

Since teamwork started working again you can do what csk84me said and although you can't start with XRay you can get there fast with :

Balanced kenshi with devastator
HT Jacqui with bloody tomahawk
Anybody else with wrath hammer

Kenshi will start with 2 bars when facing opponent with same class
Other 2 teammates will start with 2 bars no matter what
Do a special 2 with Kenshi and now other 2 teammates have xray

If you get the stat via a card, it is purely cosmetic. If you earn it, you get the bonus. You can tell where you are since there will be a red progress bar through the items and you can always click on the reward, one higher than what you currently have to see how close you are to earning it

If your only goal in this is to perform 250 X-rays, you can put Monk in your team, set him as your starter and let him die, then your Kintaro will have 3 bars (if paired with Mournful Kitana of course)

For those like me who have too much time on their hands and if anyone is interested:

Counting how many FoS SP3 / X-Rays I need to do.
There are 65 characters that needs to complete this FoS.
So monk must die: 16,250 times !!!!

As for Netherrealm characters, you can put two power generation itens (3 if the character is a diamond one). Then you play normally until you generates two bars. Then you just switch to Monk and let him die. Of course, you need to watch out for power drain enemies such as Johnny Cage, Kenshi and others. Good luck!

My man, I think I gave you the wrong advice all this time. The best way to grind X-Rays is this:

Elder God Kenshi with a starting bar of power;
Character that you want to grind X-Rays also with a starting bar of power;

Play one of the towers in Battle Mode that only costs 1 energy per battle;

Set Kenshi as your starter;
Kill 2 enemies with Kenshi SP1, and your other fighter will have x-ray ready.

That way you can grind 10 X-Rays before you run out of energy. Then watch your daily ads to refresh the characters energy.

This strategy works for any class, any character!

By chance do you also have Skarlet or Noob Saibot unlocked as well? I'm making a list of arch nemesis characters to help me remember, and these three are the only characters I don't have unlocked in any form (gold or diamond) to be able to view their feats of strength requirements.

Damage is considered before of attack
Defense is considered before of toughness

Simply said damage is better than attack and defense is better than toughness

#

Like if your attack is 1000, you have 8% damage added to this when maxed
If you add wrath hammer with 20% attack, you have 1000 + 200 from hammer is 1200 than 8% damage is 1200 + (1200x8%) added so is 1296 in the end

You can find Shinnok more often it seems in challenges where the gold is a Netherealm class(such as Vampiress Mileena, Dark Raiden, and a couple others)

Nice. Didn't think you would actually pull the data but expected something similar but with SF lower. That's pretty solid. How are your Sp2 stats? Johnny Sp2 underrated since his SP1 so good and spammavle but Sp2 gives power gen so I grind/farm for that FoS whenever I can. I've got everything maxed for SF but only like 700 for KC and not even tier3 for SD. It actually took a long time to max AL for some reason so I have better figures than SD but just barely past tier 3

Yeah just checked 526 Sp2 a list. Got some cool numbers on SP1 1100 and for KC 1717. Proud to say I have all johnny at tier 3 for health. 100+ Goro defeats for all 4 JC was pretty time consuming

You don't need his SP2. Especially with devastator. But all his SP2 ares actually way strong.

I once had lethal blows on all hits with KC damn it was like 350k damage. And with SF forget about it.... 350 in the main hit alone.

Well if SF, especially in full SF team that shouldn't be a problem. You'll get to x-ray fast. But you can optimize gear and other talents. I actually stopped using teamwork after 3.0. Other talents seem to be doing better. What talents do you use? I've been messing with Spec Ops Tactics and Horse Stance. Can't truly tell if HS is helping but SOT is really great when you're timing your tag ins properly

Also knock out 1000 enemies (only at 96 right now)

Easier than you think. What makes kitana sp2 hard to achieve is her SP1 is too useful. But she generates so much power you can find ways to spam Sp2. Plus 1000 knockouts easy if you a true grinder. I think they just fixed her tag in attack so you literally let everyone else do the work and then use her to finish the job and get the stat

I am aware of EgKenshi passive. I was partially sarcastic in my post about x-ray because I was talking about Commando Kano. As much as I like to tell noobs to shift away from looking at cards as "good/bad" and start looking at "what does each card do well? Or how these different cards create different strategy?" I feel comfortable stating that Ckano is near useless. His stats are so weak that the blind immunity becomes so niche that there's no real in-battle benefit. Plus RNG makes all the % perform very differently than what you would expect so I don't think you actually get 1/4 crit from him. And his passive doesn't add to teammates. It's just for himself.
CKano is blah. Spending time on his FoS seemed like a waste but one day I decided to play him heavily in low level towers and then see how he performs in FW with boosted stats. If I can make him a half decent fighter through FoS and gear I will consider that a proud moment.

Anyway seems like you focused on x-ray FoS...why? I'm still not convinced that defense and damage actually give a boost so I've mostly stayed away from those x-rays unless they were relevant to an actual match

I did the xrays cuz i could get 2 per match. And with the towers i could get upwards of 4-6 per match. I would use EGK with hammer skarlets vial and raidens hat. And have all power gen equipment on my 2 carries that needed xrays.

Getting 2 characters at a time 1-2 xrays per match made it take no time at all to get every character that needed 250 xrays it.

the other 2 characters have fx bloody tomahawk, and kui liang's sceptor, so they also have a bar of power. And depending on how much power gen they have when EGK reaches 2 bars of power and kills some one they usually get to 3 bars of power, cuz of him killing for 1 bar and from team work.

Theres a talent for that too, people never use it though, most just go with debuff resistance. If you block and enemy break it, it can be somewhat useful to reduce the damage.

Exploit match 87 of Shao Kahn's Tower to max your Feats category for Attack, Health, Recovery, Toughness and Power Gen. by up to an 8% bonus to each category for some characters.

For example MK11 SZ needs to initially perform 50 Combo Enders, 25 SP2s and 30 SP1s for +2% Defense, Health and Lethal Blow Chance, respectively. This is easily done repeatedly by spamming those attacks and losing, because they can only be defeated by an X-Ray or Fatal Blow Attack!

It's better to do it with your lower fusion and lower leveled cards, as they die quicker.

The only downside with the Halloween packs not coming back is that I got some of the Halloween specials in normal packs but it won’t register since Halloween is special. So now it is perma stuck showing that I have new feats that I can’t claim so it makes it harder to know when I get a new feat from playing

Another reason for the ping not going away is because you have to check your general banners and icons, open your banner customization and check the pings

Nope. I was hoping that would get rid of the pings but it still shows 2 unclaimed taunts. I know one is a Halloween taunt but when I go into Johnny cage, it doesn’t appear. There are no characters that show “new” for their taunt in the character selection screen. To be certain I didn’t miss something, I spent time clicking through every character one day and that didn’t fix it. I think it is just I got a Halloween taunt from the normal pack but it isn’t Halloween so I can’t claim it so it is stuck in a loop that you have a new taunt that I can never claim until the event comes back

I thought all characters appeared. I guess you either need them unlocked or a FOS to see them in the menu. That might have been the Johnny that got the taunt since I just saw it said Johnny but didn’t pay attention to which one and unfortunately that is the only Johnny I don’t have. Has it ever been discussed here that the AI opponent shows the teams built and said team gets the talents chosen but doesn’t seem to ever get the FoS earned? I could have sworn that it used to reflect FoS earned by opponent pre 3.0 but I can’t say for sure. Don’t feel like searching old game play video to see if I clicked on the player cards...... but for a while now I’ve checked here and there, especially when I see an opponent with maxed noob or maxed rain and/or maxed ToH or any tower gear. And for a while I thought that players with super maxed accounts but level 1 special attacks and no earned FoS stat bonuses were a sign of hacking but now I’m thinking that none of the AI players get the bonuses.......

I have done 250 x-rays/fatal blows for all characters except shang and rain, because i dont have them yet. Its actually very easy to get them in these limited time towers.

Damage is not visible in stats, but noticeable in during the battle. It is a tentative and situational stat that can be different because of opponent’s toughness, equipments and your FoS etc. and status effects like Weaken, Shield, Strengthen etc.

imo its usually better to boost damage than attack, maybe with already high base attack like fx cards, attack boost may yield substantial sp damage increase, though 50% damage boost on top will be more pronounced.

If you grind the actual feats of strength, they do improve stats

#

You need to do certain tasks in order to unlock boosts for specific characters

#

Such as: do 1000 combo enders for example

#

You can click on any card (except for bronze and silver) and click Feats of Strength on the bottom right

#

It will show you all the tasks and what you have to do to unlock boosts

#

These boosts include: attack boost, damage boost, power gen boost, and lethal chance

Ok so I'm trying to complete my feats-of-strength for my Aftershock Tremor. To do this I need to knock out a bunch of Scorpions and also win a bunch of matches in Battle Mode. I'm trying to knock out 2 Birds with one stone if you will so my question is if anyone has mapped out the opponents on each tower of battle mode? Preferably I would like to choose a tower early on in Battle Mode so that I am only spending 1 energy per match and I'm also knocking out the most Scorpion opponents along the way. Any information anyone has on the towers in Battle Mode would be greatly appreciated

How can anyone say that 8% doesn’t matter? 8% can make the difference between two evenly matched characters. If I have a character with 100k health and add 8%, I get 108k health. That doesn’t seem like a whole lot at first but if I add gear with 50% health, I now get 162k health compared to your 150k health. That extra 12% is a game changer on evenly matched opponents.

Feats of strength dont work. Kl sonya has 110% power generation plus 2 per cent FoS, she has to do 9 hits so that sonya has 1 sp (1000:112=8,9...=9). Or am i wrong?
