I used to get like 3-4 diamonds a month from skarlet by pulling 1 pack a day. The odds feel much higher with single pulls. It feels like 10x pulls grant less diamonds so I may do 2-3 pulls a time

My fx kards didn't perform much without high fused gear against towers. My f5 diamond easily became powerful enough to solo dq fatal when I got high fused tower gear. You'll find that people with fx diamonds still struggle against towers without proper equipment
That's why if you wanna spend money on the game, it's best you spend on equipment. Equipment will make you perform better with any character, particularly on towers. This is how you get lots of diamonds without spending your money on them

Not really. Some epics can hardly make a difference outside of tower. Most equipment are still very useful even without towers like Dark Mantle, Jaxophone, etc
