Yea thats the thing, thats how recovery works in this game. Any tagged out characters, either yours or the enemy's, will heal over time if they are not already at full hp. So even with Soul Siphon DOT, its not going to do the full 10% dmg after 30 seconds on the tagged out enemies since they will also be recovering

Plus, bosses are immune to DOTs, so i dont even know if Soul Siphon will work

Yes, the tactic is called interruption, I use it all the time, and I base part of how good a character is by hard they are to interrupt

Practice against opponents like Jade(assassin), Kitana, Shao, Baraka who are very slow and easy to interrupt, once you get the hang of them, you can start working the technique against faster opponents such as Scorp, reptile, kabal, etc

oh, I know how to do that and i've been doing it, i just mean the part where the opponent is in the middle of blocking my attack in the 2nd phase or so and they somehow counterattack quickly and end my animations. Does interruption still work when they're in the middle of their attack for us like it does for them? Or does interruption only work as they start their attack combo or have just finished their combo like the way i've been doing...
