@bitter vale it’s the WiFi connection to the servers if you switch to data on your phone the game works fine if you have a tablet with no data, just WiFi you have to wait again, yesterday I had to wait 8 hours.

A recommendation from me for new players: spend coins on sliver packs and equipment packs save your souls, sliver characters like the top tier kenshi, Cassie, Sonya, and farmer Jax, and your mid teir with scorpion, sub, Johnny, katana, and kotal khan, reptile; These guys can carry you up the ladder in faction wars, but save your level up cards for your gold or diamond characters. As well as doing character challenges will help a lot.

As well as look for reviews on packs to get a view on your chances of getting a character you will want later don’t just spend the souls and get a random overpriced challenge character

Also the some bronze characters are Pretty good with the shirai ryu, Lin kuei, osh tek, monk, Johnny cage, and saurian being the ones I’d say are the best bronze

@inner tide oni is good but I feel like he dies quicker for some reason his move set is pretty good he’s got great attacks but I think his toughness is lacking but that’s just in my experience. I do have all my bronze cards max fusion except for Johnny cage he’s pretty rare. Osh tek is more of a tanky kinda character similar to oni but with better toughness and able to take heavy damage. Lin kuei is a character I’d say is similar to the shirai ryu just with more health and a better special one with shirai ryu with a better special 2. All this is based on my experience with the bronze cards

You know, I want the game to take a stand like okay you want this character And Want to Fuse It? Well, this is the straight path to do it! I mean, every character goes to fusion x which means getting it 11 times! In that time, you're never able to play it in the teams and the setting which you want because it is a mismatch in stats with the other characters you team it up with. That is a great con when you consider the emphasis on passives in the game

Yes precisely! The game already needs to be played so much in order to get anything. So at least like the old store, they could have kept a model that if you unlocked something, you can buy it now with souls as many times you want it to be fused! I believe even people who want to spend money on the game would actually prefer to spend it this way rather than just on a chance to probably get something rare

no you'll get only soul fragment to resurrect shao kahn. shao kahn can only be unlocked on limited time relic hunt event which comes every 3-4 months. so get the fragments and wait for relic hunt event to unlock shao kahn and fuse him if you have enough fragments.

Klassic Kano in this tower is not a gold character, he is a boss. He is Boss Klassic Kano, not just Klassic Kano. He is the boss from his challenge, so he has the passive of the boss battle, that includes free X-rays and specials, in the case of Aftershock Tremor, the rock aura and the roulette for Gunslinger Erron Black (I miss his challenge, he never appeared after update 2.0). The other bosses who have a diamond contra part, Silver and Commando Kano aren't that hard because they don't have their own challenge, and thus not a custom boss like in all challenges.

Centaurian Defense talent only gives 20% chance to block X-Ray attacks. That means that you can block only once every 5 times and so you need to be very lucky cause you can’t survive more than twice.

you're kidding right? thats 20% chance to reflect full 100% damage. I didnt even maxed that skill so i have only 4% and it helped me on tower as so far i had 3 Boss BD kabal Fatal Blow 100% reflected back to him. 2 of those damage was over 1m damage.

Fuse your silvers and basic golds first, so you can do challenges. When you have most of your golds at a decent fusion, you can start saving souls and spending in diamond packs. @rancid fern

@elder karma do the shao kahns tower daily battle. Try and complete the 300k war point milestone in FW it'll help alot. If you can complete the challenges as high difficulty as possible. To get more soul do 1 hour quests in repeat until you have a few high fused character. Than move into netherrealm quest.
To get character buy challenge packs if you need more character fast buy challenge pack as they're stronger than basic(but not all of them) and if youre interested in certain diamond team wait for their packs.

Klassic Kano in this tower is not a gold character, he is a boss. He is Boss Klassic Kano, not just Klassic Kano. He is the boss from his challenge, so he has the passive of the boss battle, that includes free X-rays and specials, in the case of Aftershock Tremor, the rock aura and the roulette for Gunslinger Erron Black (I miss his challenge, he never appeared after update 2.0). The other bosses who have a diamond contra part, Silver and Commando Kano aren't that hard because they don't have their own challenge, and thus not a custom boss like in all challenges.

i recommend getting a handful of equipment maxed first then focus on character as characters are much much expensive. and by the time you'll get one to high fuse there will be too many other character and you'll have a high fusion characters which requires better equipment. so do the character when you think you have enough equipment to not worrying about getting equipment.

for outworld quest 1 hour quest gives 9 soul per quest. thats 27 per hour. o it for 16 hour and then 8 hour when going to sleep. you can get upto 510+ souls.
for nether realm quest 1 hour quest gives 10-12 soul per hour. taking 11 as average. that 33 soul per hour. same 16 hour repeat and 8 hour sleep. you get 650+ soul

I juist starten the game yesterday so don’t have a lot of characters yet ... is the silver pack 30k gold worth buying to get an extra char for questing to get souls? Also, is the character you get out of a 300 souls pack better than the gold card from a 150 souls gold pack? ... you have 2 gold chars here instead of 1 that way... maybe in the beginning that might be better to increase roster size ?

The best you can do is open just a few gold packs, enough for you to grind on FW and get to Kombatant 2, which gives a blood ruby pack

#

These can drop challenge cards too, along with a small chance for diamonds

#

And the silver pack is pretty good, silvers are important to use if you are a beginner

#

The best silver is Kenshi, along with the cage family, specially cassie cage

#

But others like scorpion are good too

And to answer the last question, the 300 ones are way better, in the 150 one you are limited to good cards, only goods for me are Convert Ops Cassie Cage and Grandmaster Sub-Zero

Balanced Kenshi is a good support, i guess Quan Chi is good... Master of Souls Ermac is ok with mournful

Earlier in the chat here someone mentions to do 1 hour quests to get more souls ... I only have tour 1 and 2 in outworld but.. quest8 tower 2 is a 1 hour quest but the other quests in tower 1 or 4 or 12 hours ... one cannot redo quest 1 or so from a tower? I assume I will unlock more 1 hour quest but I cannot do 1 hour after 1 hour quest continuously ?

Leo has adviced me to not buy from store and buy the challenge, which has turned out to be an awesome advice. But i have about 450 souls

Triborg sub zero is up in store
Terminator pack has a 10 percent other diamond card/86 percent gold challage card, whereas challenge pack costs me 300 anyway.

I have the other 2 tribors, and as per review Sz triborg is the best. Hence, am torn.

If you want him, you can buy him directly from shop, packs might give you a gold you dont really want

And if we are honest here, having unfused diamonds is worst than unfused golds

So you can concentrate on golds first for now

Basically, freeze in combo ender, then sp1, causes frostbite and you have the freeze in combo ender again, always make sure the lil robot thing is there for the freeze to work

There's actually a post on the game web site about where you get equipment and characters. I think you can get it between but it's not common. sadly my tower 100 was assassin Kitana, who I have maxed. So I got souls.

@proud gulch - The best way is to open as many towers/quests as you can in quest mode using whatever characters you already have. Don't despair if a quest gives you only a 15% or a 25% chance for success, just repeat the quest until you succeed. Once you open 3 one-hour quests, keep repeating those. Set your phone alarm every hour to remind you to repeat each quest. Soon enough, you will be earning enough souls to open a diamond pack every few days. Every time you open a diamond pack, you usually have a 90% chance of getting a gold card along with a 10% chance of getting a diamond card. Naturally, as your inventory of diamond cards grows, successfully completing those quests becomes easier, practically guaranteeing you a fixed number of souls to be awarded every hour.

that might depend on if you don't have them at all. If you have them, then they can trickle in from other packs you get. If not, you might want to concentrate to get them earlier if those are cards you really want.

Hello, been away from the game for about 2 years or more. Returned and now max cards are Fusion X and level 60 which places me at the bottom of a lot of ladders. I have a few thousand souls saved up. Question on character energy - I looked around and couldn’t find a good answer, so I wanted to ask you all. When I’m in Battle Mode, sometimes I will run out of energy before the 6th match. Other times, on the same tower with the same characters, I’ll make it all the way through.

When you first get quests they have you do a potion and explain it, maybe they address it there but I've long forgotten and I don't burn souls on potions anyway.
