Look for kl rain, liu kang, raiden, shamg tsung, sonya blade, scorpion, skarlet, mileena, smoke

Almost all of the Kl golds are good, the diamonds are great and you’ll find mk11s in tonnes of packs anyways

You’ll be mainly using dragon krystals to hunt new diamonds and you’ll get mk11s through that anyways

Spending souls for good golds early on is fine

The only better way to spend souls is during big events like anniversary but you got plenty of time

You have to aim on what characters you want to fusion up first

For example you want to fuse mk11 Liu Kang, scorpion and sub zero, you can either wait for a pack on the shop that has those characters or you can buy summon packs, since not only give you a chance of getting the character the pack is based on, but you can also get mk11 and klassic characters

Other options are the krypt and towers but those are more complicated

Best way to level up characters is have them go on quests, or just do tower fights in the story mode thing. But don't make them fight in higher tier towers unless your team has at least one heavy hitter to beat it
