We had made the meta a bit too tough and reduced that in some different ways

My only issues now are gold drain, lack of gas, cost of new cars. Gold drain can be addressed by slightly increasing gold rewards in events and Pass. Lack of gas and cost of new cars I addressed in the Suggestions channel.

You are right, it is doable if many or all member do all or most events. I have 750k points with Rebel Pro Pass (not at 40 yet) without buying H2H refills. 750k x 30 = 22.5mil. However, I have seen individual members of the top few clubs buying many refills, so probably those few people have many more points and others in those clubs have fewer 🤷‍♂️

Free to play means never spending money on anything. It’s a badge of honor, as it should be, you have to work very hard and be disciplined to play without paying anything. I’m not that disciplined, but I respect those who are. You are describing pay to play, which I am, then there is pay to win which people refer to as coiners. Saying people can spend whatever they want is like saying grass is green, well yes it is but it’s an obvious statement that says nothing. But you apparently misread my joke in response to Slow’s statement.

Hutch did a nice job with the Pass, it got a lot of players turned into pay to play, and changed very little for clubs. It’s a set number of points and is therefore mathematically irrelevant to the scores of top clubs. It just starts everyone at a higher base of points but doesn’t change the outcome because they all have it.

Very few players buy extra tickets because it’s almost always a bad deal. You can buy keys for less than you are paying in gold to get to the next tier. If players want to do it that’s fine, it’s part of the game, but anyone trying to maximize the money they do spend shouldn’t but tickets just like they should pay to speed up fusion.

I’m reducing to that for simplicity sake, if you know the single cost it’s easy to do the math in any situation. But I think players who buy tickets do so without considering the cost, if they did almost no one would buy them. In a one off situation it can make sense, I did it once because the math worked. There are several players who read here that buy extra tickets in h2h on a regular basis. So my question is, would you be interested in a split h2h setup where one h2h has unlimited ticket buying with high rewards and exclusive paints and decals, and the other h2h has no ticket buying with obviously less rewards?

I ask because I know the game needs ticket buyers and there is nothing wrong with that. But there seems to be a growing sense of frustration for the average player. It feels like fewer players are sticking around and we will just end up with mostly ticket buyers. It feels pretty pointless to get, fuse, and upgrade cars then practice track lines when you know it’s literally impossible to finish in the top 9 without buying tickets.

I can't stop them from spending as they spend bcuz they like and they enjoy it.
And yes the game is grindy for newcomers but in the long run it's fine 👍

The boycott was supposed to happen between season 1 and season 2 … there was another push in between season 2 . I think Sekou did a great job getting the message across as well as everyone who became involved. I think the idea to get top teams to change their names to one name was effective and involvement did help as far as cost but we are playing more events as well which sucks the gold out of us.

It’s more like the exact opposite - h2hs are the one area that race rebuying is done almost exclusively by coiners .
When you talk with people who don’t spend money on the game race ticket rebuys are the one common area they share. Everyone buys upgrades in the game with gold coins they earned in the game but very few places ask you for Up to 500 gold coins in a single button press like a race ticket rebuy. To reach 5000 plus points in an event you’re talking about 40$ (or much more!) plus in rebuys lmfao

Best club is the one who has lots of players with two accounts so they can move them back and forth between clubs and time it so the main club gets most points. You have two accounts, both with the Pass, then you just make sure to move your second account up to the main club when you are about to reach the big club points. It’s cheating in my book but Hutch wants it that way for some reason.

Cheating would suggest a shortcut, or a way to obtain something they shouldn't, with ease. If someone's running two accounts simultaneously and putting in double the time and double their own costs, it doesn't really fit the cheating definition?

Depends on how you define it. Most every game I know specifically prohibits the behavior I just mentioned. It’s considered an exploit. So the vast majority of developers don’t allow it. I’m not sure why you encourage it. As always, the simple fix is leave the club points with the player and stop violating your own terms of service.

If you have 30 players, each with two accounts, then you move those 60 accounts back and forth between the clubs you can time it so all the major club points from ladders and the Pass go to the main club. Simple solution is allow the player to keep the points.

Seems I'm maybe the minority here, but I rather like the way they've done it...it makes sense - when you earn club points you're earning club points, not personal points...they belong to the club. Sure, it sucks to leave points behind when you switch but that's what stops people from just constantly jumping teams (which would kinda suck)

What does “poaching” even mean? This is a long term game with many many months of club seasons to come. What “offer” are you getting to leave? Because offering someone something real for a virtual account is the way to get yourself banned from the game. If a player leaves one season to go to a higher club, that’s a one time event, it’s just part of the game.

Player leaves or is kicked = both player and club lose all that player’s points.
Only way to get those points back is for the player to rejoin the club where the player earned them.

Now let speak about tickets?

My idea is to keep the tickets sell, but with no damage to non buyers. So first set of tickets decrease the points of that races in 10%, second set in 20% and beyond, normal and add tickets stills giving the same points. With the course of the h2h event buyers will make less points with those tickets they bought, this will make them spend more in rematches and could buy only 10 sets of extra tickets, 11th gives 0 points in the races.

Well they get their points back when they rejoin because the points never left the club. It's more the club's points than the individual at that point. The only problem with these suggestions is that teams that get players poached from them would be hurt if they lose those points when players leave. There's no solution that completely solves all the problems.

Well, under this new suggestion that is being made there is no big incentive for clubs to poach (which again I don’t think is an issue). If a player joins a new club under the current system, and the new proposed one, the player would start at zero points with the new club. The only change being requested right now is that the club doesn’t keep points when a player leaves or is kicked. This change is necessary imo to stop cheating and kicking players just because you feel like it since the club keeps their points.

The problem with distinguishing between kicking and leaving is that it does nothing to stop multi account cheating. If you say the club keeps the points if the player exits then we are in the exact same situation now and the cheating will continue and grow much larger.

I disagree, having club points in the rebel pass gives opportunities for people to contribute to a club without having to get all / any of that seasons cars.

Porsche season 2 (?) had the GT1 and Spyder for lots (5+10 I think) of gold key crates which was potentially very expensive / impossible for lots of people for example.

Maybe I didn’t explain my post in the ama well enough about clubs exploiting the system of points. I think there is a very easy fix for this. Later we can come up with a better more nuanced solution, but for now to stop the cheating we have a simple fix.

Right now if a player exits or is kicked from a club they lose those points. If they rejoin that club, the player get those points back. Nothing needs to change in that respect, just keep it the same.

Only change needed is with the club. Simply do not allow the club to keep the points when the player exits or is kicked. Just treat the club the same as the player. When a player is no longer in the club, the player loses the points and the club should lose the points too. If the player rejoins then the player and club get the points back. So player and club are treated the same. Simple easy solution for now. Thanks.

It means it will be "again" kept as it is currently, you can fuse with equal and lower tiers, with no limits. S car can be fused with S, A, B, C and D.
After this planned change, you will only be allowed with equal and one lower tier, nothing else.

Cash cars will be back as it was before the change, then, after the oother update, they will put the tiers restriction. So for example you will be not be able to use 100 silvias to fuse an S car. Only usable to fuse a D or C car.

If you allow cash car fusion, but then restrict fusion to only the tier below, the cash car fusion, for all intents and purposes is useless. Fusing a C or D is not a big deal, fusing A and S is becoming impossible. Buying an A or S cash car and getting 1 fodder point doesn’t help anyone, and the cash car can’t be upgraded because no one has resources for that. So my question is, why bring back cash car fusion then make it impossible to actually use?

Sorry, I guess 5 fodder is technically correct. That’s what they were last time we had cash fusion. They made all cash cars almost 0 fodder. Then you had to upgrade to get any fodder points, works with D but not anything else.

We had, upgrade Silvia for $130k cash, get 51 fodder. That’s very difficult and time consuming but I would prefer that over nothing for sure. However, when Ian changes it so we can only fuse with that tier and one below then the Silvia’s only work on D and C. Cash car fusion for B, A, and S would effectively be impossible. That’s why I pinged Ian here to get clarification. As Clutch said, they would have to drastically increase the fodder value of cash cars above D tier to make it work.

So if we get 51 fodder for $130k total cost D tier Silvia, then an S tier Ford GT would need to be worth a couple hundred fodder not 5.

It’s pretty straightforward if you base it all on D tier.
D is 130k to buy and upgrade the car to get 51 fodder. For each tier higher, you can take the cash cost of the car, and assign the same relative fodder. The big difference is we can upgrade a D car with cash only, we can’t do that with higher tier cars so they will need a higher base value of fodder.

We don’t have details, but I can only guess they are reverting back to what we had last. Which means you buy a Silvia and it’s worth 1 fodder. Then you upgrade it with $100k cash and you get 51 fodder. The higher tier cash cars might only be 2 to 5 fodder, but that’s pretty irrelevant because they take resources to upgrade.

Won’t do me much good though because I do t have any fusion, well, no fusion except Porsche lol.

They will have to assign completely different fodder values to cash cars when they restrict fusion to just tier and one below. I’m honestly struggling to see the need for this restriction. If you are bringing back some very difficult to use cash fusion, which is good, then restricting which cars can be used for fusion actually gives players an incentive not to open key crates. I would think that’s the opposite of what you want. A crate car should be valuable and useable to fuse any car. That way players have an incentive to get it.

If the objective is to make fusion harder, then I really don’t understand because it’s extremely difficult now. I did the math and it will take me another two years of using 100% more gas everyday than your average player to get caught up with fusing the cars I want to fuse with a D tier Silvia being with 51 fodder. That’s extremely difficult, not too easy.
