It's good to see the DTD times no matter if they are the fastest or not as I want to see not only who is fast, but who is consistent over a 4 week period. I'm still not sure how that will work out but we'll know next week 🙂

It's unfortunate we don't have more taking up this challenge... even those here that know about this on Discord. How many times have we seen a player or two complain that they can't win because others are buying refills? That they are so talented they would win if it wasn't for the refills?

Everyone doing the DTD Challenge is doing so in a equal car. It's all about the driver. The so-called "talented" players should be winning, right? I guess it's just easier to cry about how they can't win in H2H events...

If was fun doing the DTD challenge with all the others players and it certainly made things a little more interesting. It's sad we as players have to create our own excitement as all Hutch seems to be doing is figuring out ways to take back virtual trinkets that cost them nothing to avenge their own shoddy programming.

After the mess Hutch has created for many players I have lost all interest in the game and while I had said I would finish out this season with RRDT I really don't even feel like playing this week. I am tired of making excuses and outright ignoring issue after issue with this game so for me I'm done.

22:500 is the fastest we have on our record probably By Muller. I think tablet users get less of those constant braking.

The problem with the Italy tracks are there are so many Hutch glitches in the road (maybe that is what you are referring to as breaking). You have to have a lot of experience to know the exact lines, and even then it is extremely difficult to put up consistent times (within hundredths of a second).

Yes, quite difficult. Sometimes it is better to take the middle opponent. I find after about 20 or so races, I get in the groove of where the glitches are in the road. So, I like the Italy tracks. For the H2H, though, it becomes more about putting in all the races and using ad tickets.

it's a very tough track for everyone (or almost) where it's difficult to find super times with good regularity. For example, I hate it and I am much more comfortable on 3.2 and 3.4 which in theory are more difficult, but I just can't digest 3.6 😨

great stopwatch! But from the experiments I have done in the past, also comparing them with King, I believe that with the 4S missing in place of the 4A you don't earn more than a .005/.010

some of my Huracan PBs, some of them BKTs, I did with 12/13 augs S. And I haven't still managed to improve even though I've been 18S for months now

I could be wrong but my experience of the tests done leads me to think that the difference between aug A and aug S is almost imperceptible, especially if it doesn't concern nitro or tires

The player with higher pp 531 just sandbagged / deliberately raced slow. Hence he was beatable . It's pretty common practice and almost everyone does it. It's kinda mandatory if you want to place higher in the leaderboard

People drive intentionally slow, sandbag, because the algorithm in the game was designed by and for sandbaggers. It continuously picks faster times for you to beat for the most points. So you can’t go fast from the beginning. I told everyone that the day it was introduced, but not enough players fought against it, so you are stuck with it permanently now.

Unless you are the fastest in the bracket, I think it's necessary to sandbag a little bit. Try running full speed since the beginning and you will see... On the other hand starting with a high pp car is not always good. +10 points for all 3 opponents. The first thing to blame in my opinion is the algorithm itself. Not players

hmmm🤔. I have a question. Sometimes when i'm playing in a h2h round for the main car of the week, it goes for more than a day. Let's say i started with a slower car, but i kept my speed the same. Slowly slowly when i use my tickets, my position goes up. As my position goes up, my opponents change and they are way faster than me. But i want the same slow opponents instead of the faster ones. So i dont get it, even if my times are way slower than them, why don't i get the same opponents for the whole cup? Or Is there some other trick pro players use for sandbagging and getting slow opponents for the whole cup? Or am i just unknown to sandbagging tricks? 🙂

Does anyone have track time comparisons between the Tatum and Dakar? I'm just curious how much faster the Tatum is. Granted the Tatum is hard to get great augs for and it's a wild ride that's difficult to drive consistently. Whereas most veterans will have full S augs on the Dakar which drives easily.
