Maybe. On the other hand, there’s courses where tilters are faster and other courses where they’re not. And my admiration for anyone using tilt skillfully is huge.

You can play it. For example, for me is more expensive play with tilt because any mistake you make you have to rematch And is really easy to make mistakes in this mode

You are correct about the rematch cost. I see many tilters rematching repeatedly. Most tilt racers are not that good (I certainly don’t speak of you as well as a few others); they just use tilt to get the .2 second advantage and use it on easy tracks. I think that is why others complain about it. You are correct that it is up to the individual driver to decide how they want to race. If they refuse to use tilt, they accept the fact that they will be disadvantaged when running at top speed. So many people in this game sandbag, so they don’t care.

I started using tilt about 2 months ago one our club members is very good at it and I thought I would try and learn it I have gotten pretty good at it not the best yet still learning I will say I gave you a good run a few times and I would not have been able to even try if I were using arrows it’s going to take me a while but I think over time I will get even better as I find the fastest way around the tracks so we will be racing each other in the future but only if I have a maxed out car those are the only ones that I seem to race you with when you come up I know that I am racing the fastest drivers and I like the competition so thank you

I still haven’t fully maxed my Huracan despite Trick sending me conclusive evidence of faster times than the P1. I am too poor (or cheap) to spend so much on a car, and I have decided to wait to get enough McLaren S augs to prove my P1 is the fastest on every track (which for other than just a handful of people in this game, it is). Of course, by that time, the game will be bust or Hutch will have introduced a Dodge Minivan that is the fastest Tier S car.

The current marathon matches will be replaced with the new updated marathon where we compete with who is the fastest to run errands. Bonus points for taking the kids to soccer practice during rush hour and not spilling the macaroni salad during the lady's night Charcuterie carpool.

The only challenge the Hutch skunk works team forgot to think through is that they really need some new tracks for this. They determined that was too much work, so the project was killed. Instead, they decided to go with a Halloween cut and paste season. The Minivan will be a GT series car with Stars & Stripes livery sometime in the future (it will still be the fastest car in the game, though).

The Tater has broken all my X-Raid record as well as the known fastest S times! I will post some screenshots later. As fast at the Tater is the handling is about as bad as they come.

On 5.4 that first right turn will send it cartwheeling if you hit it wrong. A Class 1 off-road race car like the Tatum should outrun all other cars in the game off-road and do so smoothly. The front suspension rides like it is on blocks, there is no damping and rebound is dialed in to the setting "Moon Launch"!

Mine are all close or a smidge faster but I a have been very lucky and have 13 yellow Aug’s, 3 for Tyres and 2 + R for Power, I’m bewildered by the handling and definitely consistency, I can do a quick time and seemingly race the same and get a time that’s over a second slower 😫. I’m using a mix of tilt/ arrows depending on the race, and in White Water I actually switch up mid race which is rarely beneficial.
What are your thoughts on the buggy and tilting?
From Aussie, all our lives around 4X4 and dirt bikes, and 200% agree that this off road season is far from trying to imitate off road dirt conditions.

Anyone know what the fastest times are for the Camaro and BRZ? These are few I scored that I was happy about. Both cars have full green augs specific to the them except one blue aug on each. On beach road with the Camaro I had a time of 17.616 but didn't get a screenshot of it. I use the arrows for the controls. Thanks.

@calm gate - Do you really think it's fair to award only 10 points? It's a racing game. You are supposed to go fast. Rebel Racing itself encourages you to upgrade your car and go faster and faster and this is the reward for doing so? The real shocker is how the algorithm didn't manage to find fellow club mates to take up all 3 spots! Give Hutch time I'm sure. You'll find a way to ruin the game even further by filling all 3 spots with RRDT choices 🙄 🤡 🤡 🤦‍♂️

After talking with @ember holly the two of us thought it would be cool to have a Tier S Daily Test Drive competition. This would be a true drivers race. All cars are equal so there can be no complaints over who has a maxed out car. And because we have both arrow racers and tilt racers we will compete with both formats.

For the past week players from F2P and RRDT have participated and here is are the results from those running tilt last week...

The Focus on tilt can beat a good WRX Custom driver on arrows but you have work it. For my spreadsheet I was thinking that the WRX (non-custom) was faster than the Focus. We had events for the WRX so I had fast times for that but it wasn't until the recent Focus H2H events where I finally found fast times for the Focus.
