It’s frankly disgusting from Hutch to allow round 2 to go ahead with this repetitive bug. The event could have been pulled very easily before it started.
This is the same as the last time this bug appeared.
Just the same pile of 💩 that seems to be the norm from hutch. They could have fixed the bug over the weekend, the last time it happened it was fixed in the middle of a h2h giving advantage to anyone who had tickets in hand.

The week-end should be reserved as a quiet time for Hutch to work on the game (like Monday’s appear to be). H2H races should only run when Hutch is working and can provide support to the game. Your business model is offensive in that issues happen repeatedly over the week-end with zero support. Hutch takes their customers‘ money, but isn’t providing a product or service that is expected.

Yes, it should be set to 1 purchase. That change has been made on the server now. There was an issue with the offer this morning which meant that it needed to be re-added to our server. Unfortunately it was re-added with 10 claims by mistake.

Hutch is okay with these kinds of comic book effects. They can’t fix it as it is too hard for them. Several cars/trucks have issues.

Known car rendering bug facts with no sarcasm so no reason for Hutch to delete a post.

1. The DeLorean has wheels that "expand" and "wider" as the rear suspension is compressed from acceleration or compressing over bumps. A proper design would have the wheels tuck inside the fenders.

2. The Tier B Blazer still has a front axle that is pushed back in to the fenders.

3. The Tier B Blazer and Tier S X-Class Custom have ghost wheels that do not rotate. They look as if they are skidding along the track!

4. The Tier B AMG-GT leans to the inside when making a turn to the left or right.

5. The Tier B M4 sits too high in the rear and the rear wheels are not centered but pushed forward.

The ladder also has a double fusion which will interfere with H2H round one.

Yup. It’s really poor planning and squashing everything up. The fusion requirements in ladders are silly and, in this case, mess up the H2H.

The Daily Tracks & Laps Ford GT race needs to be fixed. It's impossible to win by arrow or tilt. You can never get closer than 90m to the lead car so there is no chance of even knocking it off the track for a win.

The other daily T&L cars are OK, those are all winnable.

I believe the new % model for picking h2h opponents and assigning what points we get is broken for non T&L h2h. We need to have the old .2 seconds algo for non T&L h2h, and the new % model for T&L only.

Hutch has confirmed that they can do both algorithms simultaneously, but they won’t bring back the old algo for non T&L unless more players ask for it. Please take a few seconds to send a message to in game customer support asking to bring back the old matching algo for non T&L h2h, thanks.

Everything about it is worse than the old .2 seconds algo for non T&L. Everyone sandbags otherwise you get no points for going fast. You get less than 30 points for an opponent who is the same or actually slightly faster. I guarantee there will be a lot of complaints when we start having real non T&L h2h.

I haven’t found it too bad so far when the points work properly (ie not like the points screw up in the SCG H2Hs), but, like you say, we haven’t had a proper competitive non T&L H2H for ages (except for Titan which went ok in this aspect) It does seem to cast the net wider and give more 24-28 point options, which I like because the old algo used to sometimes give 10/18/35 type options where the 35 was really hard and the 18 was too easy. Sandbagging is a problem with both approaches.

The .2 model was fixed and definable. The new % model causes ridiculous randomness, sometimes I get a reasonable opponent, although the points are never accurate, and sometimes I get way too easy opponents for very few points.

True. That was my initial point and main concern for the non T&L tracks - there’s too much luck involved in whether you get a 20 or a 28 point “hard” opponent and that adds up over the course of an event. In T&L it works better.

I’m suggesting we keep the % model in T&L, although it could use some refining.
But bring back the .2 seconds model we always had in non T&L. I don’t want every player to be forced to sandbag no matter what just to exploit the fact that the % model doesn’t work well in non T&L.

You’re right. Looking at some recent times, the % algo in non T&L sometimes gives me 22 point opponents and sometimes gives 27 or 28 for very very close times. That’s too much of a random element.

There has always been one on the second bend of Observatory Way and the first bend of BOMW but now I’m hitting one 80% of the time on the first bend of Tunnel Vision and just hit one on the second bend of Bridge the Gap for the first time. There are more obstacles on the tracks - continuous problem that Hutch apparently cannot easily fix. I don’t believe that Hutch can run two H2H algorithms simultaneously. If they could, they would have fixed the matching issue already. I wish Hutch would halt all new releases and just fix what they have. Make this a racing game again, not a sandbagging game. We have plenty of cars that we could mix up in a variety of races that would be fun even for the veterans.

@coarse bronze I’ve personally seen this zero points issue a few more times, I had not been paying attention earlier and has been reported by lots of people. I don’t expect a response until Monday but …
I want you to supply a log of all my races and if they had club points or zero.
Then please confirm how many points you’ve added.
I’ve paid gold for tickets in this event, I paid real cash for that gold recently.
You need to also contact all the other people who have had zero points and add the missing points to their account.
This product is not fit for purpose with the countless bugs.
Several including myself suggested running an event to test, ALL those messages were ignored and no test was run.
You’re standard “we’re sorry” message will not cut it this time. Nor will a free graphic.
If you cannot supply the product (club points) to everyone who is missing them then you need to refund everyone who has paid for the event and tickets.

That would have been 10th to 19th rewards I think. But the difference is you would not have had that many points. With 100 players and so many buying huge amounts of extra tickets everyone gets raced more.

You just have to have your P1 selected on the garage floor, then go to the Events, it will work that way.

This is a built in bug in game - it's the ad timer which doesn't work sometimes- although you see the free ad watch is due but in actual 60min have not passed yet - so the best way is to remember exactly when did you last use the free ad 👍 hope this helps

Hi, sorry about this issue. We'll have a fix for it in the next release. In the meantime, if you select one of the McLaren P1, Koenigsegg One, or Pagani Zonda in the main car hub, then you shouldn't see the error when entering the event. Thanks.

This algorithm that was designed for T&L doesn't work for regular H2H. Does nobody at Hutch not care about the actual game anymore?

I’ve been posting about that for awhile, apparently not very many of us want to race in a racing game. Most want to sandbag by smashing into walls to slow down in this “racing” game.

The % model for non T&L h2h is terrible, it’s worse in every way compared to the old .2 seconds model. I’ve asked Hutch to bring it back, but maybe @coarse bronze and @raven spindle don’t want players to upgrade or fuse cars anymore. It’s a lot harder to sandbag when you fuse and upgrade, so just don’t do it. The new % model forces everyone to sandbag, so it’s dumb to fuse or upgrade your cars.

Obviously you can choose sandbag with the old model, but the new % model basically forces you to do it.

Hutch was quite clear. They CAN run both algorithms at the same time.

We can have the % model for T&L and the old .2 seconds model for non T&L.
The only reason we don’t have both is that they have not received enough requests from players to change the % model back to the only model for non T&L. They think we are fine with the % model for non T&L.

If you want the old .2 second algo for non T&L then send a message to in game customer service.

Most adds now appear to be either gambling or the worst mobile games possible. If games are that great they don’t need to advertise for new players. Word of mouth is simply good enough (a bit like a good tradesman).

Yes, it’s pretty bad that the Mini map is completely frozen on the first day of a Mini season. It is a workday Monday after all. My Italy map worked when the ladder first appeared, but afterward it froze up like everyone else. Nothing we can do until someone comes online.

But later I swiped away the game to do something else, came back, now it’s stuck like everyone else. You need to trigger all of the events, not just Mini Madness. I had to go to the main campaign map to populate those events, now the MINI Madness section won't respond.

If you're on Android, you can still swipe from the side and use the Back button to avoid closing the app. 🤓

Yes, I’m not sure what did it, but clicking the events on the main map fixed my Italy map. I think the game wants you to click the 1963 ladder from the main map.

• avoid clubs coping names of other clubs / penalise mockery

• Presenting club mates as options to choose in h2h and sometimes all 3 are club mates 🤦‍♂️

I think that’s a fair list of features, but I wouldn’t necessarily agree that all of them comprise the most basic features of a clubs environment. I would still consider chat as a nice to have feature.

The fact is that we’re a small team compared to our competitor racing games. We have to pick and choose the features that we add, based on a number of factors, like how long will a feature take to implement, and what will be the overall benefit to players,

The idea with clubs was to develop some shared code that could be used in Rebel Racing and F1 Clash, and then perhaps Top Drives. We worked together to design a list of features that we all wanted. Rebel was going to work on the shared code first, but it quickly became clear that it was going to take far too long to develop everything on the list, and would’ve meant that we couldn’t work on anything else, so we split it into two stages (we called V1 and V2). What you see in Rebel at the moment is mostly the V1, minus a couple of things that we wanted to do but which got pushed to V2 (like a better invites system).

After we released V1, it was decided to focus on some other features, whilst we saw how popular clubs was with players, things like Rebel Pass and Tracks and Laps, both large features in their own right.

In the meantime, F1 Clash took our shared code and developed additional features on top of it, like a better invite system, a club inbox which allows the club owner to message the clubs members, and club roles. They recently released that, and have just now started preliminary work on chat. All of their work could be brought back into Rebel in the future.

Your suggestion that the programmer who initially implemented clubs V1 in Rebel decided on their own which features to implement and which features to drop, is incorrect. We took those decisions as a team, as we do with each feature in the game.

Let me put in simple words : if i am paying for Rebel Racing game I only care about it - I don't care neither am I interested what is happening in F1 or any other XYZ game.

It looks like the people in charge / responsible to present the feasibility report didn't do it properly they should have known and understood the club environment and its basic requirements.

I can understand not everyone knows everything but then there is no harm in asking 🤷‍♂️

If you don't have enough resources/staff to carry out a job properly or finish it in a decent manner then ethics demands you should not start it.

From your message my understanding is you jumping on to new stuff knowing that the existing features are broken ... your focus should be fixing the existing ones before moving on to next one.

I know exactly what you doing as business. You are just introducing new stuff without any prior testing ( due to limited resources and staff) ... by the time players debug the game (which actually is your responsibility) you throw in new stuff with more bugs ... it's like vicious circle

You very well know there is a huge communication gap within your organisation as well as in game... majority of player base doesn't even know that the game is actually broken on so many levels.... they just assume it's how it meant to be or probably they not doing something right or perhaps they are unlucky etc ....

There is a lot more but since you're not the person behind everything I personally feel it will be unfair. But any day the team likes to sit down and give it a reality check I be more then happy to do it 🙂 even would love to visit you London office 👍👍

We definitely don't jump onto new features, knowing that existing features are broken (I certainly didn't say that!). You may not believe it, but the last thing we want to see is broken features in our game. However, we have to strike a balance between adding new features that grow the game, and revisiting existing features.

I agree that we've been lacking in communication, and it is something that we're trying to improve. Katie and Nico are trying really hard to keep you all up to date.

Name another racing game that expects players to pay $50 to $100 for a single car that’s used only a few times. The reason no other game does that is they know, in the long run it will destroy the game.

Your entire economy is based on getting a large amount of money from just a few hundred players. If the top 5 clubs quit tomorrow, you’d be forced to abandon this game. It’s more than possible to keep big spenders happy while not intentionally excluding the rest.

I have read every post in this discord, everyday for a long time now. One fact is undeniably clear, your customers are more disappointed, more dissatisfied, and more unhappy than ever before. We all see that the game has less active players every month, it’s not a secret, so you try to squeeze as much as you can out of a few high paying players. Just some free advice from a relative expert, the path you are on will end in the game being cast aside from active development.

No problem, and to get this channel back on track, here are the known bugs that have been reported but not yet addressed…

1. The Hide feature for clubs had never worked, whether you click it or not random players join your club whether you want them to or not. Since this feature was supposed to stop that, but the code currently doesn’t do anything, that constitutes a bug I think.
2. The T&L cars are all wrong from a performance vs. tier standpoint. The lowest level B tier is much faster than the extremely expensive GT tier.
3. The new percentage model for picking opponents in T&L h2h might be a stopgap feature for the long T&L races, but it it certainly doesn’t work well. It’s just less bad than the old .2 seconds fixed model. So that needs to be fixed at some point.
4. The new percentage model for picking opponents in non T&L h2h is a complete disaster. Not one single players asked for the .2 second model to be changed to % for non T&L h2h, and many players are asking to have it changed back. This need to be done as soon as possible. The % model is an abject failure and needs to be put back to the old .2 seconds model for non T&L h2h.
5. No player on the US server asked for events to end an hour later than they always had for years, yet that change was made for no reason and without warning or explanation. A clear majority in the US server have asked that ending times for h2h to be put back to 11pm Eastern as it always was. Yet nothing has been done on this for a long time.

If I kick a player from F2P League then there will be a random player joining sometimes within a few seconds.
Kick them and within a few seconds someone else joins.
There has to be something in the code that makes this keep happening.
Even if people have the club ID code I don’t believe people are sitting there searching with that, they wouldn’t know there was a space available.
I know this is an issue for all the top clubs.

No offense but it’s pretty ridiculous at this point. The answer to your question has been posted countless times for many many months. Every club in existence has this problem because your hide function does literally nothing. It’s never worked, it’s never done anything. Many players from all the clubs have told Hutch that many times since you put the hide button there.

We would like to change the system so that buckets are not event service dependent and operate on a "fill one bucket first" style system, rather than the current system which load balances between more than one bucket based on the number of concurrent requests received, but that requires a rewrite.

I’m not sure why people would suggest having multiple brackets concurrently filling. That’s exactly what they do now and it doesn’t work in the slightest. If they had a way to open multiple brackets and fill them up evenly that would be great. But that’s what they try to do now and it fails miserably.

I still thinks it’s better to have everyone register the day before, then the system can allocate them evenly. Then you start racing whenever you want. I realize that’s not fair to some with a different style but we need a system that is fair to the majority, not a few players who post here.

My Mini behaves strangely on the Italy tracks. It seems to slow down and near stop for no reason at some points. And sometimes I race cars 20 PP less than me that at times are the same speed as me with no nitro. The tracks seem to have slow and fast spots that sometimes you hit and sometimes you don’t. 🤷‍♂️

No secret there, been complaining about Hutch throwing out the virtual anchor/parachute for a at least a year. Causes you to lose so you have to spend GC to rematch then you never run close to your fastest times. Happens on all the tracks no matter how many times you run the same lines.

What Hutch thinks of this? I notice the ad was edited and the free events offer is now removed..... so problem solved?? I'm not sure who or what's the process you are currently implementing to control the quality but clearly is not working. And again, it’s a total shame because it’s clear a decent effort was put into the Rebel Raceway area. There’s a lot of variety in the tracks for being all on the same landscape, the ‘restored vintage track’ idea is clever, some of the cars are quite fun to race in, but with twice the time investment for the same cash rewards and HALF the resource rewards it’s just not attractive enough to race on.

Rebel Raceway deserved better.

Yes, club cars are guaranteed in x crates, since it’s a GT you can use up to 1200 gold keys before you are guaranteed to get it. Tier S cars are 1k keys, A is 800, etc.

@raven spindle can you re-evaluate the GKs awarded in the Mustang GT ladder? It’s only 50 GK for 400 gold entry. The 400 gold ladders have typically been awarding 80 GK. Even the Lotus ladder awards 60 GK for 300 gold. This seems wrong especially considered the Mustang GT custom already costs 1900 gold to buy.

The indicator letters are there just as a help, not a requirement. However, they designed them to be the minimum tier to complete the task. 5.7 only appears in B tier or higher, thus their C is incorrect and misleading by their own definition of how the indicator letter is supposed to work. Just thought I’d point it out in case they wanted to fix it.

I proved mathematically that the distribution is not random. I posted details here with a very large number of booster crate openings. The lowest resource by a huge margin was the same resource we all complain about being short. Hutch completely ignored me. As far as I know they are in violation of the law by falsely stating random number % in the game and then not actually doing it, but I doubt anyone will take the time to go after them for it.

I tracked the drop rate in total and the 19% or so is correct, but I didn’t track the actual resources I got. I was too lazy for that lol.

I tracked my actual resources in S EZ$ for about seven days I think. Got to wondering how many races one would need to run to get a decent estimate of the actual real-world percentages and I figured standard deviation and sigma would figure into it. Been a looooong time since I dealt with any of that though 🤓

I imagine you’d have to run until you got at least one of each, which according to the published rates woul be 340 races. Only about four days

It’s a lot unfortunately. I tracked several hundred but that was only for the overall percentage. For individual percentages for the resources it would be thousands to even it out. But that’s thousands of data points of a resource drop, not races. So 5k races would be a good start lol.

I was wondering if it would wreck the data set if we pooled resources from several people who were willing to track? It shouldn’t, right? Each spin shoul have the same probability regardless of things like any one individual’s ‘streak’ if I’m not mistaken, so it shouldn’t matter who was responsible for any one data point if the dataset is reliably kept

It shouldn’t matter to pool data, but data integrity is always an issue. It’s really easy to just forget or lose track over weeks of testing. You have to actually record every single gas used, whether you got a resource and exactly which one. It’s a lot of work. Which is why I never did it, they would need to pay me for that lol.

Yep that was what I was doing. You’re right, I did worry about data integrity, I noticed times where I wasn’t sure if I got the gas count right. I ended up thinking I should get a real-world manual count-up clicker and specifically click it every time I hit “Next Race” or “>” from the You Win! screen since that is the point where the spin actually happens. That could help a bit with data integrity.

I printed out graph paper so I could write in the result of every race. Then I’d have to walk around the house when I forgot where I left the paper 😂.

Haha! I also kinda figured it could at least be a way to add an over-arching challenge to the game, since once you’ve finished the main campaign, there really aren’t any. Rebel Pass had kinda helped with that, but it’s not worth ten bucks any more, and the free version is legitimately insulting (Click to collect FREE PRIZE - Empty Blue Square!)

I play on iPad so I just switch apps at the Bonus Rewards screen and jot my resources in a new text file each day. Presumably similarly easy on iPhone or android. A hand clicker at the spin screen would help keep the count pretty accurate. In a month, one person could believably get 3k spins
