When I used the mod, I bypassed it as if I was a new player and didn't log into Google play. There was no issue with it because I hadn't log in but Facebook was an issue when I tried to restore my data from it with the mod.

Got locked out the game afterwards and this popped up

As usual it probably has something to do with generating more cash for Hutch. Recently every change they’ve had results in this game becoming more and more expensive. Agreed, I was honestly having fun racing all out in the D and C, but now that there are no gold keys I don’t see the point in even entering. It’s crazy how I went from entering a lot of events and enjoying real racing, to just doing nothing. I can’t imagine this all ends well for this game. They just shutout many hundreds of players spending a couple hundred a year or less.

I think this game will be finished in the next 6-9 months if they carry on doing what they’re doing. Circa 250 players can keep the revenue going once the vast majority decide to quit the game. The likelihood of player returning will be 50% or less, new players will soon discover that this is an expensive game and won’t stay around for long. With only a handful of teams in a tournament it will soon get boring and Hutch won’t bother / afford to develop the game any further, before it goes into run off.

@raven spindle and @coarse bronze this has become serious issue when you guys run two T&L h2h event together with one of them can use any tier T&L..the problem arouse when several racer and me try to change race from nomad to lotus event..since there is NO OPTION to choose car before start a race, we mistakenly bring the nomad to race even previously we are using tier A caterham..with time stamp already been decide by previous car that we use, we have no chance to win that race with nomad and hence lost points to silly situation like that..please Hutch..do something about this..please at least make the option to choose car..at least for special h2h event if it's too much to change in every h2h..we really hope you considering this as immediate change into the current h2h..

The fix went live yesterday. As you can see, difficulties are being set correctly now, which wasn't happening before. It's the trophy amounts that are being set incorrectly and we're looking into it.

Regarding the screenshot above, the reason why it's like that is because these tracks are hard. One mistake in a turn can cost you a second. Once you have done a decent lap, you will see those option if no one has managed to get a decent lap during that period.

With regular tracks, people are mor consistent with the lap time so that problem is absent.

It appears they did change the matching correctly to the % but forgot to update the corresponding points you get. So the players you match are right, but it’s giving you the wrong points because those are still based on the old system. Seems like not that hard of a fix, just depends on how quickly they can update it.

No, it’s a problem with the algorithm. They expanded to 1% from 0.2 seconds. They just need to update the points you get. Nico said it above, they just need to update the points, aka trophies, to the new % bands.

I can set a time of let's say 2:10:000 on main course. If everyone messes up their laptime and much more slower than that time then when I play that track next time, it will only give me 5+ points option.

The new % system gives a hard opponent (right side) within 1% of your time. So @wicked yoke shot above shows a right side opponent within 1% of his time, which is correct. The problem is the +6/—20 points. Those should be +30/-15. That is what Nico said and Zod is saying. If so, that screws the H2H for all until it’s fixed.

1. The points (trophies) are all much lower than they should be. I believe you are looking into this.
2. Many players are having trouble racing because your server seems to be having an issue. The player loses the tickets and get a -20 forfeit.
3. The first 5 tickets you can get three impossible opponents.

Why is Hutch choosing to keep running h2h and charging real money to enter them when multiple bugs are making them unplayable?

It is now 4 out of the last 6 tickets. I always closed the App before starting a new race. It really puts me off playing. Last ten races I collected 153 points (between 5 to 25 max) from always racing the hardest opponent and winning each. But instead of being in top 10, I drop down because - 20 points is such a hard hit each time.
I will open a ticket with CS, but it will not bring back this broken event.

I had no intention of entering this event in the first place as the lotus is the lesser car on every stat. The only way to succeed in these H2H and next season H2H is by sandbagging. Once you get a good lap, then there is a chance you will start seeing 5 pointers. Almost no one is consistent on these tracks.

These tracks are long and one mistake can cost you a second.

You are correct. That is why the H2H matching and scoring algorithm is so wrong. Hutch did not think about any of this before they launched T&L. They can’t run two different algorithms, so they are now caught in an endless state of nonsense. They have invented a racing game where you win by going very slowly then incrementally improving your time. Real life racing should be like this. Formula 1 and NASCAR would increase their fan base by 10x and become the dominant global sport.

You will see that my car is faster in the first straight but after the bend the Atom shoots past me (without nitro). My Caterham has 4 S augments too. Something is very wrong.

Here is a direct screenshot, I can also provide you individual proof on any track you want if you need it, just let me know which track. Bottom line in the A tier 620R is too slow. The B tier Atom is not significantly different than the B tier Nomad and KTM, therefore you don’t want to have to slow down every car in B tier, just fix the A tier 620R. I would suggest giving more speed, handling, and a better turn radius. Thanks.

It's as if when you click on the arrow to turn, even if only very slightly, the game delays your forward motion when compared to the tilt version.

I uninstalled RR by accident. I have reinstalled RR but all my customisations are gone. Yes, I still own them but they are not configured on my 45 cars as I had them. This is very annoying. Also annoying is that I can't easily distinguish which I own from those I don't. This means I will now spend an unhappy few hours searching though hundreds of customisation colours looking for 'owned'. I wish they were separated out in the UI. I wish my customisations were preserved from one instalation to the next.

Hi Aimer, my point is not that the rewards within the crates are random, I know that already. However the suggest percentages listed by hutch do not add up. I’ve opened about 7 bronze crates and not one contained any gold. I would suggest that either the algorithm is incorrect, or the 25% suggested drop rate is incorrect. I’m happy to open this debate out to the wider audience, but I’d be surprised if someone’s opened 4 bronze crates recently and found 3 out of the 4 containing gold (to balance out for those who’ve not received it)!

In addition very rarely do I just get C & B Augs. For me it’s mostly D Augs with a few C and really odd occasional B aug. Again happy to throw this out to the wider audience.

Have you guys run the daily D? If not I suggest you do and see how the new % model affects your opponent choice and points. We used to get +30 points within .2 seconds. Yesterday I was getting +26 points for an opponent only .1 seconds away. So imo this new % model does not work for non T&L tracks.

I’d suggest we go back to the old model for non T&L tracks, or at least consider widening the % that’s used. Thanks.

This is the size and shape of the steering touch areas (red squares) on my iPhone 12. They should be proportionally the same on all devices. Do you tend to have you fingers close to the screen edge? The issue is not as bad as the video shows, at that time is was margin issues clearly ..... but this time is like some of the red area has patches / dead spots which interfere with registering the tap

I thought for certain I was going to lose this daily test drive. I was able to catch up to "Elia" at the final right sweeper turn and I got lucky with a light tap that sent the car off to the left big time. By the time I finished "Elia" was over 249m behind me!

Ok, thanks for the info. The code logic looks for a touch within the boundary of the red square. Does it fail if your finger is over the arrow graphic or when it is outside the arrow graphic? Not that it should make any difference though 🤔

Hello, I have a question about the new club season. I complete my daily challenges, but I don't seem to be making any club points for the club. I joined a new club today. I have less than 100 points, but i completed at least 3 or 4 od the daily challenges, since I joined. Am I missing something?

The Pass challenges don’t give club points except at certain rungs where the club points are listed, other than the 50 to 200 or so you get from using gas. If you leave a club and join another you lose all points collected and start over at zero.

It may be something to do with the specific line you approach the bend in. It feels like if you are in that (wrong) line, the ability to turn in the bend just doesn’t work. It doesn’t happen very often but when it does, your race is blown.

It's the new way to regress , you win it's 5 points , you loose its minus 20 points. For one lost race you need to win 4 time .
And if by unluck you have to meet your team it's worst .
In 100 racers you will always meet the same.
After those are saying that they were targeted, but no one has been targeted. Hutch algorithm is the lonely risponsable.
For sure everyone wants to win. Does no matter who you will select , ( avoid your team 1st, choose the safety 2nd, or the risky challenge )
You will get always the same racers , and the 98 remaining will not face you .

I have said this since T&L was released. Amazingly, Hutch did not think about the H2H algorithm differences between the two types of tracks. They can’t run two different algorithms, so they are settling on this suboptimal version. If this was the best approach, it would have been the original way to do the calculation. Hutch is at a loss for how to fix it.

Yeah, the feature makes sense if it were to look at all your cars rather than just the unlocked ones. No one needs a warning that they're using the last of their fodder cars...people only care if they're accidentally using the one they intend to keep

Warning on fodder cars imho is actually worse than no warning at all - it makes the warning expected and normal...players will just develop muscle memory to click through it and subsequently accidentally fuse cars they intended to keep

The warning is broken in that it ignores locked cars in calculating your “last” car of that one. The warning is a good idea, it just needs to look at all your cars, not just the unlocked ones.

PP value is an average score when the system races a vehicle on a list of tracks, so you can compare its performance with other cars in its Tier.
I've asked if the Rebel Raceway Tracks (which the Tier S Ford GT isn't calculated on) would be the reason why the Custom has this performance difference.

If players invested hundreds of gold keys to get a car that should perform as a GT and compete against other GT cars but get a car that should have be categorized as S and has not chance competing against other GT cars don’t you think that’s a reason to immediately fix it? If the do they will notice how slow is the car ( I do have the BMW to compare ) if you plan to keep the performance of the car the same maybe you could take the car from everyone , return the gold keys and advertised it correctly for people to have the right info before making a decision to get it or not, you did it once right ??

@raven spindle i think the bottom line here is A cars are supposed to be faster than B, S faster than A, gt faster than S (especially considering the insane cost of upgrading and aquiring it).

As your customers we expect this performance order... and have invested accordingly... but your players (unpaid testers) have found this not to be the case and are therefore extremely disappointed and mad for wasting their precious resources they paid and/or worked so hard for and have not gotten the car performance anywhere near relative to its cost...

the idea put in the players minds was that GT was supposed to be superior in every way... hence the crazy high cost.. it was supposee to be so much better/faster than the lesser tiers that the players would want to invest the ridiculous amount of resources to upgrade it cuz the results would be worth it... this is obviously not the case...

Please fix the performance of these cars relative to their assigned tiers... either make the A, s, and gt cars faster... or make the s, a, and b cars slower...

If that is not possible, then an appropriate action would be to partially refund the costs incurred by player in upgrading the gt... to it's actual performance instead of expected performance.... in other words if the gt is no faster than the S... then it shouldn't have cost anymore than the S to upgrade... and this difference in cost should be refund to the players that paid it...

No real play testing, algorithm broken, car performance broken, massively overpriced, numerous glitches on the track, intermitten broken left turn arrow, &c. The game economy is utterly broken across the whole game.

Resource keys result in random resources, if you are at or near max, the resource is worth literally zero. Every player in the game can show you resources where one is near or at max while the other is low. Therefore you can’t assign full value to resources from resource keys. It’s rather complicated but I have a specific value for every item in the game based on actual gameplay.

I can tell you resource keys are worth approximately .5 gold each. So the new Resource Rush costs 500 gold to enter yet returns only 200 gold worth of value. It’s an expected value loss of 300 gold to the player which is why you see so few players enter it. Even if you are desperate for resources, the random factor of resource keys plus the uneven distribution of resources in the game means no player should ever enter a resource ladder or rush. The player is much better off using that gold for the specific resources they need at the time.

So 4 x boxes + 1 x s6 = 530 gold minimum or in your case maybe 575 gold if you get lucky with roll 1 🍀

I think Hutch is adding the cash value equivalent to gold in the equation which is another 180 gold which matches @raven spindle 800 gold evaluation

A coiner buying resources non stop for gold has a different value model. However, from what I’ve seen coiners don’t care about values in the game so it’s irrelevant. Add up how much you personally spend in gold buying resources over the next month, or last month if you remember. Then use that as a basis for valuing resource keys.

One thing that would increase the value of resources and resource keys to the player is increasing the max inventory limit. Hutch raised the resources needed substantially, but never raised the max limit. The thing that kills the value of resources is getting it when you happened to be maxed on that one.

There is nothing we can do about it, right now I’m maxed or almost maxed in some resources, but others I have 1 only, increasing the resource inventory limit allows time to let the random drop rate work out. Every player here would agree the game would be better if we increase every tier resource limit to 35.

Sorry to bring this up again, but I just wanted to point out the actual maximum value. If you use the max cost of resources from the upgrade screen, a resource box is worth exactly 129.75 gold. That’s the absolute max value, by definition it’s worth less to players, but mathematically it can’t be worth more.

There are 4 resources crates in the Rush plus one s6. So the absolute max value of the Rush is 129.75 x 4 + 50 = 569 gold. The 800 value is incorrect, the Rush can’t be worth more than 569. But since there is a huge random factor involved the actual value to a player is substantially less than max value, thus it’s not worth entering.

Additionally you lose a substantial amount of cash plus you lose 4 resources on average by using 20 gas in the Rush. Which is why the true value of the Rush is less than 300 gold. It’s debatable how much less than 300 but it simply can’t be worth the 500 entry fee.

I think if you probability weight the first roll you get a gold value of 128.75 for a resource crate, using upgrade prices of 15, 20, 40, 45 and 50 for S2 -6. So, 4 of those plus another 50 gold for the additional S6 you get 565 gold. However, as you said, this doesn’t factor the random nature of the resource drop whereas in upgrade you can choose resources you need. I don’t know how to price that exactly but I would, given 2 out of 3 rolls are S5 and 6 and roll 1 has a 30% chance of S5, which are capped higher, give it say a 20% discount roughly (which is generous - to Hutch). Meaning I value the whole event around 452 gold. So, not worth a 500 or 600 entry price, even ignoring lost gas opportunity of other resources. I’ve no idea where 800 value comes from.

First role .3 x 45 + .35 x 40 + .2 x 25 + .15 x 15 = 34.75, then add 45 and 50 for the s5 and s6, that’s 129.75. So the absolute max value of a crate is 129.75 assuming you get 100% of the exact resources you need. I have resources I need and ones I don’t. I’m guaranteed to get resources from a resource crate that I don’t need sometimes. So based on my experience actually opening these crates I’d put the actual value in the 50 to 75 gold range.

The question for the player is, “Did you spend 500 gold to get resources from the upgrade screen over the past couple week?” If not, why would you spend 500 gold to get random resources some of which you won’t need?

The tier A rush is seriously horrible. They reduced the cost by 4% and the rewards by 25%.

Just had a talk with Nico and he's seeing 40+ opponents. In an Event in which everyone has the same Hero car and there aren't that many buckets, it's common to not get 40+ every time. yes, only scores from 15 to 19, in Europe, the problem is that not all of the 100 participants have this problem, with my own races they have double my points without ever having been attacked

The first few races can give 40 points but after race 6, it only gives 15-20 points for times within 1% of best, which should be 27-30 points. Ask Nico to race more than 5 times and if he then gets 25-30 opponents.

@raven spindle @coarse bronze same problem. Compare my best (first) time in the top right corner to the right side opponent. It’s about 1% difference, which should be 25-30 points not 19. Something is wrong.

Looks like the same issue as when the matching was fixed. The point allocation was wrong but the time matching was right. This was a 29 pointer by was only .2 slower which was the “old” way
