KTM only permitted coloured Decals for the car, so it's not got the same customisation choices as other card.

Also, it was not explained if this was required for a technical/server reason; I hope it was as nobody ever complained about that in the past. I liked reviewing the events (and the rewards) in advance and prepare my cars for them.

Because events are displayed days in advance in the Events hub, having the event show on the map before the event seems very redundant. It also eats into the length of time we can run the event for too.
A game suggestion we've been sent is to increase the level of detail for rewards in the Event Info screen. Which is something we're currently working on and should improve the visibility.

We're going to remove the re-match button on events that players win, so the behaviour will be the same as before the update. This requires a game update, which will be out on Monday. We wont be running Shoot-Out events next week. Any players unhappy with the current Shoot-out, please contact Nico via in-game Customer Support tickets.

I predicted there would be many more surprises from Hutch with this release, and it looks like they are popping up all over. I also predicted T&L would be delayed until November, but I was wrong on that one. But we have plenty of highly disruptive bugs (and intentional changes) in this release which keeps Hutch’s QA record intact.

Yes, it’s redundant info for ladders. However for h2h the only way we know if we can enter them is see the rewards. The problem is every player looks at different levels. Some players only care about 6 to 9th, others only 1 to 3, but I only care about 10th and 20th rewards brackets. I can’t know if I can enter until I see the 10th place and 20th place rewards brackets. This is not necessary for the evergreen events since they repeat, but it is extremely important for the one off h2h like the upcoming K1. No one here knows if they should bother doing something with their K1 because they can’t know if the event is fairly priced or not. If you can’t put the one off h2h early, can you post details here?

Yes, total chaos. H2H’s are a complete joke this week. All those slow racers that are used to gaming the algorithm to win are going to suffer mightily to those that want to punish them this week. Same for fast racers that allow a poor time to stand. Hutch intentionally made this adjustment to the H2H to make more money and have again made complete fools of themselves.

There is a bug, you can pay for infinite rematches when you win, you keep all points from all rematches. Very big bug. Start spending gold to exploit it.

I don’t think the game uses your latest time. I was doing a Tier A race and I got a call. I hit pause and put my iPad face down. The game continued and I lost by 33 seconds. I tried to watch a video to rematch and of course the game locked up. The loss showed up as a 33 second loss not a forfeit.

About an hour late someone hit me on the same track and it was my previous time before the 33 second loss.

I accidentally used the wrong car once, set a time 17 seconds slower than my previous. That 17 seconds slower time was used against me twice by two different players. It’s definitely using your last time no matter how bad it is.

Hmm, it looks like the game is adding the points from the Daily A and D. So the bug is that it doesn’t show the club points in the reward screen.

Hi @lime ruin , @coarse bronze told me to uninstall the game because it was attached to my Google account and backup by Facebook making a conflict in my profile way to show. After I did it I couldn't have my account back anymore, only my son's acc, that is on my Google Play to buy him items, came with the download. When I did try to login with Facebook only, it came with a brand new game zeroed and when ask to login it fails. Now I haven't my account and I can't play!

I mean that statement literally. You have no choice but to give everyone in a 1600 h2h the same rewards or it is essentially fraud. You charged real money for something you know is broken. And assuming it’s an honest mistake, that’s fine but you have to refund everyone who bought the 1600 or give every participant in the h2h the same good rewards. It turns out, by pressing the race button, and seeing such a bug, I should simply give my 20 points to a obviously faster player. This is discrimination. I must have the CHOICE to cancel the race if I do not see an equal opponent. And it will be fair.

This is why we've suggested matching be based on pp range instead of lap time range

Also if we're sticking with lap times... since the laps are longer the with a greater range of disparity... i suggest simply moving the oponent match times and associated times by 1 decimal place... so instead of a 0.2 second slower opponent being +30 point... it would now be 2.0... and 0.6 sec being +20... now be 6.0...🤷‍♂️

These are paying customers... would be a different story if 1600 was free... like it was supposed to be... if they're not happy with the product/service hutch provided, they should be compensated to their satisfaction or issued a full refund...

They haven't fixed the issue and the compensation was not only inadequate... but given to everyone, not just those affected...

Just for the record- North America may have gotten SOME Cat 1600 H2H2 payouts. However!!! This never addressed the #@$%&%! problem in the first place!!! I was in 5th place when the problems started. I couldn't get a "normal" race the whole rest of the event time and lost 6 places and finished 11th and out of the the top 10 prizes through ABSOLUTELY NO FAULT OF MINE!!!!!
I even requested help and/or answers from Nico @ hutch and he/they never even bothered to respond!!!

When it will be sorted (the work soon is not good enough) and what they will be doing to compensate those players who have purchased the Caterham 1600. I would suggest as a Minimum that the £8.99, or equivalent is fully refunded for the cost of the vehicle.

They could have canceled today’s 1600 h2h or at least made it free since they know it’s broken. Any manager could have come here and explained. They chose to take no action.

It’s a simple question, if you bought something online or in a store, and the product was broken and defective, would you return it for a refund? If you would then simply file for a refund for the cost of the 1600 from your App Store. 💯 I did, but miles away from this. I had to spend 150 gold to stay in the top 10 of the “shootout”, I took and won every 30 point race, had 3 ghost loses in the whole event and came 8th, several thousand points down on the winners.
None of my team have exploited to the same extent taking dozens and dozens of reloads. Of course they are taking the free ad re match but not paying 100s of gold to bypass a non reloadable event. The screen shot there proves that!

This is as much a dig at Hutch for not pulling the event as the club.

But nearly 3 times the possible points …. Really?????

Completely agree with what you’ve said. You can effectively now ‘buy’ a top 3 / 5 /9 place in a gold entry event. With the cash entry events there were much less coining. As you’ve said, this is supposed to be a racing game and not a who has the ‘deepest pockets’ game. It’s a shame how this game has evolved for the worst.

No point in discussing it here. Just send a message to customer service in the game. They might be able to do something since the box is clearly a case of intentionally trying to deceive the customer. A giant “Silver” word in exactly the same way we had silver key crates before, then a tiny gold colored key. A lawyer who wanted to take the time could win that one without even going to court. Deceptive advertising laws are pretty clear cut.

@coarse bronze in a couple of the T&L tracks the car doesn’t turn properly - like it won’t turn enough and won’t drift. I’ll try to note which track and which turn. I think it’s one problem turn on each of 2 tracks I’ve noticed so far. One of them is the last turn on Vroom with a View.

Players have to hoard gold keys now because Hutch has made attaining event cars reliable on gold key crates. Silver keys' value had moved left closer to bronze keys.

Just rollover, and take it as it comes. This bug on H2H had an effect on placement of ones investment, not only in time, but also money, $$$, changes the outcome of points also.

There is a major bug in rung 17 of the new Atom ladder, 7.4 Tarmac to Trail. First time through the game completely stopped my car at the area pictured below, at the Rebel Raceway sign. T&L was supposed to be a game changer. You’ll recall before the release, players were starting to get fed up with this game, with many established spenders leaving due to the greed issues. However some players like me were willing to give Hutch one final chance to redeem themselves with T&L. Oh dear!!!! The Caterham 1600 proved a complete disaster and now this! This really is the racing equivalent of Atari ET game. What a mess and what a shame for the investors (MTG). They must be shacking their heads at the mistake they’ve made in their investment.

I don’t understand why when regional timings were introduced that Europe got our times fixed (now ending at 22.00 /23.00/0.00 depending where you are instead of 04.00/05.00/06.00, which was terrible), the Americas and Far East/Australasia times got messed up 🤷‍♂️. I thought generally people were ok with the Americas and Asia times so they would be left as is and just Europe (thankfully) changed.

Hutch is too busy trying to save T&L to adress any other issues. They should have thoroughly play tested with a beta group before releasing T&L or any major updates. They have difficulty making changes without causing other unintended consequences which is a sign of very poor QA. Player satisfaction is near the bottom of their priorities. There are so many easy ways to address all the issues, but the team must be very small that can actually do the work and the cascading issues are overwhelming them.

It’s not debatable for the US, the vast majority of people do not stay up until midnight, we work too much for that. Let’s just hope this 1am end time is a mistake and Hutch fixes it.

Additionally every doctor in the world will tell you that using a device right before bed is measurably detrimental to your health. So an ending time of an h2h is not a time you are asleep. If Hutch is asking players in the US to stay up until 1am they aren’t actually falling asleep until closer to 2am. I don’t think anyone thinks that’s reasonable.

I’m normally in the UK and the 10pm end time is good - 9,10 or even 11pm is ok. But currently I’m in Turkey and it’s midnight end. Just about ok because I’m on holiday but in a normal week (work, children), while better than 4am end, I agree midnight is too late.

No server should have end times later than midnight. That means eastern Brazil should end at midnight on US server, which would be 22pm EST and 19pm PST.
In EU then I guess Moscow time zone is the eastern most? Midnight there would imply 22pm in CET and 21pm UK time.
Asia is difficult. Hawaii is eastern most or is Alaska on AP server too. Anyone knows for sure? If Hawaii ends midnight then India would end 1530pm. Is Iran on AP server? Then 1330 end time in Iran..

We used to do ok by being 10th in h2h, and a little better than breakeven at 20th. Now those two brackets are so bad participation is way down. We used to have a waiting list to get in the club, now we can’t even fill open spots. Augments to almost zero value, 400% increase in cost of booster box, US times made two hours worse without reason, every single T&L h2h has had serious bugs, T&L easy money takes 4 or 5 times longer but has almost zero drop rate for resources.

I mean thus with 100% honesty, the game has gotten much worse since you left. Put up a poll and you will see.

Several pages of comments here, multiple pings and messages, and not one single response from anyone about changing the timing on the US sever to a point that a third of the country can’t play anymore. No comments about ongoing bugs in the T&L h2h that makes them almost unplayable.

There are some good things but I don’t dare mention them because anything we like seems to get taken away lol.

Lots of posts here so to summarize we have two major bugs currently. Please give us an update on when these bugs will be addressed. @raven spindle

-The ending event times have been moved 2 hours later on the US sever without reason or explanation. We assume this is a bug since no one ever asked for the US sever to be moved later.

-Every h2h in T&L has been a disaster. Players have been posting for weeks that your 0.2 second algorithm is completely incompatible with T&L, so the matching is ruining every h2h. For how big and important T&L was supposed to be, it seems strange that no one at Hutch is telling us if h2h will ever be fixed. You are charging money for something that is currently broken.

We can't change an account's server. If it was created in Europe or in Asia, it'll belong to that server regardless of any location changes.

The Caterham H2H bug seems to have first been reported on Discord at 12:30pm YESTERDAY. From looking on here I can’t seem to find any response from Hutch what so ever, even acknowledging this issue. This is extremely poor!!! Even the Hutch defenders on discord no longer appear to be defending them!!!

Yes, after the first 5 races of +5/-20, you get more normal options but then very frequently you get +5/+40/+40 or similar (too easy or too hard). So it doesn’t work properly with these longer tracks because the dispersion of times is too wide relative to the algo’s choosing range I guess. Maybe it works ok if you are very fast or very slow, but in between it’s chaotic.

I don’t think I will enter another T&L H2H after Caterham until you change this.

The T&L algo needs to change. 0.2 and 0.4s differences on 2 minutes long tracks is 0.17 and 0.34%, which is crazy. Too hard to be that consistent. I would tend to believe the masses would rather have everything in working order vs. rushing into another season. I would hope Hutch feels the same way. It would certainly keep you and your team from seeing so many complaints and us burning you at the stake. With all that said, what's the current planned dates?

I know that but my time is a point of reference. It’s not the best - I have seen the BRZ faster than 15.5. But the point is if a BRZ can go below 15.5 if driven well, then probably a Silvia can do the time you show.
