-20 forfeit is just dumb, it’s left over from a completely different point structure. The worst you usually do now is -10, or -8 is fine too, so that’s the worst it should be for a forfeit. It’s just a fixed number in the code of the game, it should take about 2 minutes maximum to change it. What does that tell you about the state of Hutch if they can’t even do that?

Logically, the forfeit should be equal to that of the race loss unless it is an application crash, in which case it should be zero. I'm sure the system can tell the difference between a race restart and a system crash?

My team mate has experienced the same issue. Uninstalling the game and a new installation has worked for him. Clearing game data should help as well. But car customization are not saved as usual. Game backup should include customization information

Re installed it and all went ok except for my customisation car features which I installed manually.

For one day all were smooth.

Today there were no money or gold coins no more gold keys. All 0. Apart from the customisation points.

The garage was ok though.

If that happened to me I'd walk away from the game as at the end of the day you've purchased an offer in good faith using real money, just got more than what was offered. As it was a Hutch glitch / mistake there should at least be dialogue and a compromise reached as opposed to just cleaning people out completely like that. If they're doing this they should refund any money used to purchase the offer.

Seems like normal Hutch outlook of the customer is always wrong ..... if the offer gave out too much gold it sounds reasonable they take the excess back ... it seem wholly unreasonable to me that if you have spent it they can just pillage the rest of your account.
If I ordered a pack of 4 rolls from the shop and they gave me 8 and I ate them, then it does not seam reasonable that the shop keeper can come round my house and take my TV while I am asleep! It would probably be reasonable however for the shop to take back the 4 excess rolls if they had not been eaten.
Hutch have such poor testing and there are so many bugs but the customer always seems to get screwed over when there are bugs.

It’s simple, both Google and IOS have an official function to receive refunds for money paid. Everyone who has things stolen from their account should file for a refund of any and all money paid. Make sure you point out the developers stole everything from your account.

I did not take part and buy the gold coins myself and I am extremely upset this is happening to other players. This is the straw that breaks the camels back for me. While there are many aspects of this game I like there are far too many bugs and outright rip-off’s this games does deliberately and I’m tired of it.

There is no question the Hutch and it’s employees knowingly violated the law in multiple countries with their actions. You can reverse a mistake, as in refund all money paid and remove what was received. But Hutch is trying to keep the money, take back what was received, and take back even more apparently.

It will only cost a couple thousand dollars to get a class action attorney to write a demand letter to Hutch’s legal representatives. If players affected don’t get refunds from Google and Apple they should get together, put in a small amount each, and get a lawyer. It’s honestly easier than you think.

If you are wondering why this is fraud, consider this.

Apple puts a special ad out to sell the iPhone at the retail price of $999. But when you buy it they accidentally send you two phones. The ad goes viral with everyone telling friends to buy it. Then weeks later you get another $999 charge on your credit card for the second phone. Apple just sold two phones to way more people for max price.

That’s intentionally misleading sales practices which is illegal in many countries. No one here would have bought the deal multiple times if it wasn’t giving extra. So Hutch has to refund money paid if they are going to remove what you bought.

Personally, I do think it was intentional, or at least, they figured out what was going on and started devising a plan of action, but didn't stop making the offers in the meantime.
Still, you can't prove it was intentional. And, it may not have been initially. Not sure about the UK but in NZ, honest mistakes (such as an occasionally mislabeled price ticket) are allowed and the seller isn't obliged to honor the mislabeled price. (However, this backpedaling after the fact is dodgy.)

Spot on. Retrieving other goods and currencies than those that were legally bought by the customers is not exactly the "correct items" that was paid for. Infact it's the opposite, it's collecting items that has nothing to do with what was offered.

When i asked Hutch to at least return back the golds which i paid for (beside the 12000 golds that i got from the glitch) Hutch call our action as FRAUD.
So this is not Hutch's mistake and they dont consider take any responssibility on that.

When the app is in the background but not closed and I haven’t used it for a while, if I go straight to a ladder race ticket, it often hangs like this and I lose a ticket. Way to avoid is having to go to the map first and back to car then to ladder. Why does this happen? Never happens for an Easy Money ticket. Lost ladder ticket for no reason.

I’ve dealt with this for three years it happens when you go the ladder race right away. If you wait a few seconds before starting the race it will be ok. When you open the game and go to the racing hub with your five cars move across your cars then go back to the car you are going to race and you will be fine, no need to go to the map. For some reason the game needs a few seconds before you race on the ladder. I’m using IOS, once in a while I get in a hurry and forget to do this and end up having to reopen the game only to find out I lost the ticket. Hope this is helpful 🙂

Yup, they tried to tell me the same .. however, before they changed the algrithm a few months ago the previous matching algorithm did reduce team mate matches by about 95% ... the new algorithm has a major regression in it that 25 years of software development tells me that is classed as a bug ... Hutch will not be able to convince me otherwise

Yes, they can incorporate the previous reduction in teammates with the current algo. However, as you can see from these seasons, there is no work being done on the game. They never even fixed the +10 for all three opponents which is a simple fix. I wouldn’t count on anything being fixed in the future. After their mistakes with the glitches they just abandoned the game to copy and paste.

I’ve had a similar scenario happen to me where I lost the first race and lost the rematch, but the algo kept/used my initial time even though it recorded the rematch time in my history.

In my experience it seems like the bot has a pre-programmed time, but the reality on the track is different. If you finish the first race with less than the programmed time, then the bot will match your last race time. If you look at your race history, it will sometimes show the bot with a faster time than was actually raced and your positive score will be in red like you lost instead of black.

The purpose of the game is to rank up in a pool of players, not to be the fastest one. This is the distinctive racing character of RR other than other racing games. So all your effort is to tactically control your time (upgrading, sandbagging etc) to always make the easiest opponent to race with to let you more easily to rank up. If you just drive as fast as you can, then you will always match with those players as fast as you and you would be more difficult to win in each race in over 20 rounds of racing that keep no loss. So many players misunderstand RR is a racing game of racing fast. Actually there are so many things can be race with other than speed. And this is an amazing idea of game design. This is the reason why I play the game for over 2 years.

Believe me if I tell you that if you are a good runner it is very difficult for someone to beat you but if you are a mid-level runner and you run as hard as you can then if you are in serious trouble because you are available to the best runners and you can no longer run slowly to try to grab points because now if you get very difficult to beat the highest option

The way I play this game with the current algorithm is, drive full speed if I have S6 on. Sandbag if no S6.

Under such situation (team mate+ really impossible opponents) it's allowed to race team mate in my team. It's unfair to lose your ticket like that. Your club loses even more doing so... Good tip from @unreal prawn … if at the end of the race you get spinning wheel of doom “minimise” the app by switching to something else or the “desktop”. Do not close the RR app and go back to it when you think it’s up again. Saved me a few forfeits

This is what the CS will tell you. You need to upgrade your car more. The game is no longer fun when you're unable to win any race. Hutch doesn't care much but if they want to incite more racers to play, they should fix it (At least 1 option should be winnable even for +0 point). This must be so frustrating for some players. I noticed recently Porsche 27RS round 2 Eu server 1 group didn't fill and same situation for the current Ford GT40

Does anyone else get the Used Car Dealer advert? I am now getting it all the time snd have reported it. I get a black screen on my iPhone. If I touch the screen, I get this screen and then go back to the black screen. After 30 seconds or so, the X comes up and I get the gas or race ticket. So far so good, except this has screwed up my gyro and the tilt screen inverts. Not good for ad rematch as by the time I switch tilt off, race lost.

It would be interesting to see what the advert actually consists of.

Seem that many RR players experienced such "angry" moment. It always ruins my racing plan and make me lose a chance to get top ranking. Now some game companies allow "critical" rewards directly released to players to skip watching ad if there are network problems or other unexpected situation. I highly appreciate such arrangement that those companies concern about the game expereiecne of players by sacrificing ad view rates. Hope Hutch deal with such "rematch" problem shortly.

I had the problem occasionally of nothing happening when I hit the ad button for rematch or ticket. I ended up tapping the button rapidly with my thumb and eventually an ad loaded. It happened to me at the end of a race the other day and I could not get an ad to play in time so I lost a position 🙁

If it's spinning way too long, minimize the game and wait for the server to go back online. Doing so you pause the countdown timer for the result submission. Just make sure your device doesn't kill the app 😁 (battery saving policy)
