Yes bit odd , for me everything is bit strange. Seems to me as if they rushing into it all and in process of doings so they are compromising on the game play experience and entertainment side of the game. In short back to club season, mini club season during Xmas holidays is a very unhealthy approach.

I can only request @hidden adder to speak with team and hope they cancel the mini season at-least , although I don't celebrate Xmas but I do know how important it is to many and they look forward to this festive period in order to spend time with their loved ones.

The latest season has been first class with regards to the evolution of the concept of this game. However the execution by Hutch has been dreadful. You’re right that everything has been rushed without careful thought or consideration. I’ve underwritten professional indemnity insurance for software developers in the past. It is always a condition that full and effective testing of the software is undertaken prior to its release. Any testing undertaken by Hutch prior to the release of T&L was certainly not full or effective. It’s been a third rate season. For that I will be walking away (with a sad heart).

It’s very odd to have a week of nothing really inspiring to enter at all then cram presumably 9 events into one week …. Unfortunately seems the disorganised way of Hutch at the moment shame as there are so many people not on discord to voice their opinion’s…..
I can forgive the bugs, that’s the nature of software, but the zero response from hutch, speed to fix bugs, continuing to run bugged events is inexcusable. Several events could have easily been swapped out to make the season more enjoyable, we’ve seen how easy it is for Hutch to do that yet they don’t.
Poor organisation is really to me far worse than the increased costs …. and as mentioned a thousand times already there are so many easier ways Hutch to increase revenue. Running the ladders for the events after the h2h is a prime example of how Hutch will loose revenue, there will be little point upgrading the cars after the h2h which means less gold spent on resources….. I actually quite like that as will potentially save me from spending gold!!

@hidden adder Hutch, I would like to point out some wrong tactics, in my opinion, in the game! First of all, I'm an old RR player and I've spent a lot of money. (You can see it from my in - game account!). Lately I have not been excited about the game, because, especially after the implementation of the clubs season, there are players who indulge in a relentless pursuit of tickets to the games in order to take the first places, without necessarily being the best drivers! There are many personal examples of players, who, while I beat them repeatedly in the matches between us, they take first places, collecting multiple points, because they bought tickets 5,6,7… times during the match! I do not enter the process of this chase because the best does not win, which should be the philosophy of the game !!! I have noticed that some very good players who used to be actively involved are now away! At some point you implemented the matches without the right to buy tickets! It was a good thought! My suggestion (I believe other players and I know for sure from my club!) Is to make the matches with no right to buy tickets or buy up to 2-3 times during the match, as well as the right to repeat the race, none or 1- 2 times ! In this way you create equal match conditions for all players and more players will compete who will exhaust their equal rights in the match and the ranking will be more meritorious! I believe that you will not lose money this way, because you will pique the interest of many good players and those who want to become better, to participate and exhaust their rights in the ticket market, because the ranking at the end of the match will be fair! Think! It is better to have a meritorious match, where most good players will exhaust the right to buy tickets (the 1-2-3 times you will set), than to have an unworthy match with a few players who will repurchase 5-6-7… times tickets!

And that’s why Hutch is losing money with us : all the other drivers who are not very very good don’t race… because they don’t want to lose again anymore. For 5 drivers wra, hutch lose 100 middle drivers.

Same in the s race here, with normal tickets i’m at 600 right now, their over 1400 the firts 6 places. Lee pitt umbrullio and more spenders.

The issue is not only the first! We are clearly playing to win! Just with these rules the pleasure is lost! For this reason, Hutch must set healthy rules of the game, meritocratic, to cure the fanatical players.

It's a small dialogue between the members of Salsa Rasta Racers, my team, who are in 4th place and we are unhappy with the non-meritocracy rules! In the end many good players will stop playing!

If the cost of buying tickets is 500 gold in the Spyder h2h, and the additional rewards you get are worth significantly less than 500 gold, you are locking in a loss. It’s like paying 8 one dollar bills to get a five dollar bill, it’s an illogical loss of money. So why do it? The top clubs 9 clubs are locked in their rewards bracket so points are irrelevant. Why throw money away for nothing.

Let’s look at the numbers. You get 85 more gold, 6 more gold keys, and 8 more silver keys. In the shop gold and silver keys cost an absolute max of 9 and 4.5 gold each. So what’s did you get for your 500 gold cost by buying one set of tickets.?

85 + 6x9 + 8x4.5 = 175 gold. That’s it, you get 175 gold (and that’s using the absolute max value for keys which is obviously way overstated).

So you literally threw away 500 - 175 = 325 gold. You got nothing for that 325 gold, nothing. So my question is why?

It’s a way to encourage you to spend more money. Firstly upgrading your tank with a free refill (£8.99). Then if you want to refill your gas in a H2H, then you spend more cash. You’ll soon see, you need to spend money in this game.

No, $360 s year would allow you to participate in some but not all events. You will usually be cannon fodder for those that spend hundreds a month. But, it’s a fun game through winning the S tier car. Just play for free to that point then come back and ask if it’s worth spending any money.

I have my own valuation for everything in this game, but if anyone here want to see why I post that certain events are not worth entering, or a certain h2h rewards bracket is a loss, simply look at this. The picture below values gold keys at about 5.3 gold per gold key, and silver keys at 2.7 gold per silver key. Whenever you look at a ladder or h2h, just look at what your gold cost to enter is, then add up the gold value of the rewards you get based on the numbers above. It’s not my opinion, it’s just straightforward math.

Most ladders are poor value. I tend now only to enter the ‘free’ ones for the season cars (won from gold crates) and the Monday Tier D ‘open’ ladders which cost about 20 gold coins each to enter.

Been playing a long time, and read a lot of posts from knowledgeable players. My best advice to you is forget about PP. I never even look at it, only thing that matters is how fast are the times the car can do. There is a pretty good consensus on which cars are best.

All events got much, much, much worse. All open ladders, all daily and trophy h2h, even the 300 gold entry B h2h. All of them kept their entry fee the same, but they took out 100% of the gold keys. Personally I’m calling it the decision that killed the game, but no one believes me yet 😂.

Before Hutch gets mad at me for that statement, I understand why you wanted to rebalance things, but you took events we were enjoying and made them 100% worthless, because they aren’t worth entering. There are two choices to fix this issue.

Simple way is just add back a few gold keys to make them worth entering. The other way takes more work. Restrict these current events to players under level 100, and give the rest of us more expensive daily events that have a fair number of gold keys.

I really don't get this terminology that they use - "rebalancing". I really don't understand what "balance" they're trying to achieve, because it seems like they're making it more and more out of balance with every change. Like, what is the "balance"?...that a new player must play for an average of >2 years before they get their first non-cash S tier car?

Actually, in all seriousness...I know what the balance is - it is the balance of squeezing the players for the absolute maximum they will pay before the fall-off from players leaving the game affects their profit. It sucks but I guess that is the world we live in.

The xp is what levels you up, you get various rewards and offers on the way to level 100, after that it is meaningless. The rebel points I think might affect a small amount of cash when you first start the game, but it can be ignored.

New players need to go to the Welcome channel, choose a role, then read the FAQ and Tips and Tricks channels.

In a bracket of 100 players with an investment of 500 entry coins, the ratio of 9 over 100 participants getting the reward car is very low. You need to make the reward for atleast 20 participants, same as like 20 clubs in season rewards. That would make it reasonable. Hope you consider the request and update the rewards. It is other thing that i am not even in top 20, so it is not just for personel interest.

T&L tracks are 500% worse for money per time, and 800% worse for resources. I’m not sure why we would want to make them worse by taking up more fuel 🤷‍♂️. If you did that no one would ever race them. Even doubling the current resource drop rate would be great but for your time you are still better of avoiding T&L completely.

Technically we are spending 4 times as much time to get the same thing which is not good for us. But one step at a time. As is, it’s a huge waste to use gas in T&L, everyone should avoid it. But if you make the resource drop rate the same as S tier road then that would be a great first step. Thanks.

The game was great up until about 3/4 months ago. I’ve predicted it will be finished in the next 6-9 months. It feels like a company which knows the end is near and is desperately trying to get in as much cash as it can before closing the doors.

Some people / players with addictive personalities are trapped and will not be able to stop themselves purchasing the £60 car, but fore most that will be the end. I thought the Ranger Rover at £30 was a complete rip off, but that GT is a huge rip off.

I’m sure the usual crowd (you know who they are) will come out and defend Hutch. But for most people looking at this game (that is all it is a game) will think this is completely bonkers 😜

People forget the actual costs involved as it’s keys or gold coins. But when you convert the cost to cold hard cash, people would be questioning their sanity. Imagine if the enter button had the cash amount rather than the gold coin amount and you had to pay by Apple Pay to get in. How many players would actually enter?

We also win gold coins, get them from crates and in daily giveaways etc. So is it actually that much? - It varies from player to player depending on how long they have played for and how they have played.
I can only speak for myself and I know that in 18 months of playing the game I have spent less than 100 euro$ on the game, yet I have nearly 14k in gold coins and about 85-90% of all cars. I've also got a substantial amount of of crates and ff. - So the value of a gold coin, to me, is not the same as to player X.
However, that is not to say the game isn't getting more expensive. It is, without doubt, regardless of how you calculate the value of gold coins.

I’ve been playing for over 18 months, since about February or March 2020. At first I did not buy any gold or cars, just what I could earn for free. Then I bought the mini and the off road tier D. Then I started buying the season passes. I’ve probably spent about £60 on this game. But now it’s become too expensive. I still have about 3,400 gold coins, about 1150 gold keys and loads off fodder cars of all tiers. But this game has changed for the worse in too many ways.

I loved the fortnightly racing for cash entry, that has now gone. The different ladders (reasonable price entry for decent rewards). Purchasing up to 3 same resources for in game cash per day. Daily rewards which were pretty good. It’s all now changed for the worse(unless your Hutch).

I’m going to give this pass a go. Free for one month, if it’s no good nothing lost.

I think this is the “rebalancing” hutch talks about. They see that players who have been playing a long time (over a year or more) have accumulated a lot of gold and fodder etc, which newer players don’t have and can’t get. They are trying to drain that from the longer term players (I’m not one of them - 8 months) but the problem is that this makes the current gameplay ludicrously expensive for everyone (else).
